In this episode, Steve continues a discussion of Psalm 34. It is important for us to know who we are placing our trust in. If we are not careful, we can begin to trust in our abilities instead of the Lord's completed work. Our salvation is in Christ and not ourselves. Keeping this in mind and setting our first priority on Him will help us live the type of life the Lord desires. Join the discussion today as we think about Psalm 34.

Description:
In Psalm 34 we learn that we can trust and depend on the Lord. Who or what do we place our ultimate trust and confidence in? Join Steve today as we continue our thoughts from this Psalm of David.
Psalm 34: 4-7 (NKJV)
I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.

Today Brenda and Steve talk about discipleship. A disciple of Jesus is a person who learns from Him and one who follows Him. Discipleship takes place in our homes, our communities, and around the globe. Disciples of Jesus will not always be perfect but they are people who follow after Him.

Who is God?
This is a big question and one that carries a lot of significance. You may not be asking this question, but what about your friends? How would you explain who God is to them? Hopefully, these brief thoughts could help us frame a conversation with our friends.

Summary:
Jesus calls us to be followers and learners of Him. We are called to discipleship. In this process of learning, we are not going to reach a point where we have everything figured out and where we can say “I’m done!” God is too big for that. A disciple is a student, they are a learner, and this process of learning to follow Jesus is a life-long journey.
