Today makes a difference! What can we do today that will help us in maintaining and reaching our goal as Christians? How can we run the race faithfully so that we can hear the words "Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” (ref. Matt. 25: 23). In the book of James, I believe we find some very practical steps we can take today to help us live faithfully in the Lord.

Episode Description:

How do we live in expectation of the Lord's return? In Matthew 24 Jesus tells several parables in which He says "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect." (Matt. 24: 44). It is important for we as Christians to live each day with an eternal perspective. Today, we discuss the benefits of keeping our focus on the eternal; on the Lord's return.

Summary:

Today's episode concludes our thoughts on faith from Hebrews 11 as we consider the faith of Rahab. In her story, we learn of a faith that saved her from destruction.

"By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace." -Hebrews 11: 30, 31 (NKJV)
