Summary:
Today on The SimplyRevised Podcast we talk about the faith of Noah from Hebrews 11. Noah did not simply do what everyone else was doing. Noah trusted God's Word. Noah acted according to God's Word. The Lord desires a faith like Noah's. How about us? Do we share a similar faith?

Episode Summary:
On this episode, we will be continuing our thoughts of FAITH from Hebrews 11. If you are at a point where you can open your Bible, let me encourage you to do so as we consider the Faith of Enoch, a faith that pleased God.
“By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Episode Summary:
There is little doubt that our weeks are extremely busy. We have so many things pulling for our time and commitment. What is our greatest priority? Jesus said we are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind. On today's episode, we talk about priorities.
"Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22: 37-40 NKJV)

Episode Summary
In (1 Peter 2) Jesus is described as a living stone who was rejected by men. It is true that many in the day of Jesus rejected Him, as some still do today. They did not accept His teaching or that He was the Son of God. They did so despite the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah, despite Jesus’ words and teachings, and the many miracles He performed.
Will, we today acknowledge the Son and follow His word? We must build with the true Cornerstone. If we reject Him, as some have done, choosing to build based on our purpose and desire, our efforts will only result in loss. Believing in Him, we will have everlasting life and the promise of being raised up with Him at the last day.

The apostle Paul wrote in (2 Timothy 2: 20-21) "But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work."
Today, how can we be prepared for every good work, useful to the Master?
