A kidnapping! Deteriorating reality! Husband's summer home! This week the boys deal with PTSD and want to go SOMEWHERE QUIET!!

Writer/Director Olivia West Lloyd’s feature debut is self-assured, genre-bending debut that plunges its heroine into a paranoid nightmare. The story examines the psychological toll of surviving a kidnapping. Somewhere Quiet defies easy categorization but does it succeed or is it too fractured? Plus, we go back to TV Corner and check out Ju-on: Origins episode 4!! And so much more!!!

Horrific violence! A gang of orphans!  3 wishes! This week the boys go to Mexico, meet some cartels and ghost only to find TIGERS ARE NOT AFRAID!!

Tigers Are Not Afraid merges fantasy and supernatural elements with real-life horrors.
Issa Lopez has crafted a current story, especially given how much the drug war on the border of Mexico and the state of immigration dominates our political discourse.
But does Lopez create real wonder and mounting danger or doesn't develop a world we fully feel invested in? Plus, we go back to TV Corner and check out Ju-on: Origins episode 3!! And so much more!!!

Decaying home! Dementia! Insidious presence! This week the boys meet a daughter and grand daughter, who are looking for an elderly mother who vanished. Only to find the RELIC!!

Relic is a remarkable debut, by Natalie Erika James. The movie takes on the theme of dementia in a new and eerie way.  haunted house story but the failure of our own minds and bodies. But does Relic tighten new screws of the genre or less effective by the end? Plus, we go back to TV Corner and check out Ju-on: Origins episode 2!! And so much more!!!

*FOR SPIKE

Motorcycle accident! Top secret experiment! Ill fated love! This week the boys celebrate Valentine Days with a tale of Doomed Romance. As they take a bite out of Return of the Living Dead III!!

Love and gore-what more do you need? Return of the Living Dead III is a gore flick with a love story at the core. The Return of the Living Dead took many more chances than the other Dead series. But does RETURN take a satisfying bite or too different from the rest?  Plus, we go back to TV Corner and check out Ju-on: Origins episode 1!! And so much more!!!

Prog-rock musician! Decapitation! Undead corpses! This week the boys get new neighbors and commit serial manslaughter! It's time to DESTROY ALL NEIGHBORS!!

Destroy all Neighbors is a neurotic horror-comedy. It's a very plot-light movie. Jonah Ray Rodrigues stars and has popped up recently in many movies and is a welcome talent. NEIGHBORS to me is like junk food. But is it empty calories or satisfying meal?

A young girl! Philippines during World War II!  Flesh-eating fairy! This week the boys  have stolen Japanese gold and want to hide it IN MY MOTHERS SKIN!!? (gross!)

I appreciate the creative takes on horror from the Southern Asia. Asian horror movies from Japan and South Korea are pretty common. I rarely see horror flicks made from the Philippines. In My Mothers Skin is very unique but is this movie a fairy tale that is to grim? Plus, we go back to TV Corner and check out BloodRide episode 5!! And so much more!!!

Ancient curse! A psychiatrist!  H.P. Lovecraft! This week the boys body swap to find some SUITABLE FLESH!!

Stuart Gordon was one of my favorite filmmakers. This movie feels dedicated to him. Director,Joe Lynch, mixes camp, grotesque horror, and black comedy. But does Suitable Flesh pay tribute to one of the masters in the genre or is this an uneasy H.P. Lovecraft adaptation!  Plus, we go back to TV Corner and check out BloodRide episode 4!! And so much more!!!

Paranormal phenomena! Neighborhood in Buenos Aires! Researchers! This week the boys move into a affected house and together, try not to get TERRIFIED!!

Terrified, is an Argentinean horror movie, the storyline focuses on detectives who investigate some strange occurrences at neighboring houses. But does it live up to the title or complete rubbish? Plus, we go back to TV Corner and check out BloodRide episode 3!! And so much more!!!

Anthology horror!  "El Viajero"! Vengeful Paraguayan wraith! This week the boys become SATANIC HISPANICS!!

SATANIC HISPANICS is 5 stories loosely tied together. Many top hispanic filmmakers showcase their talents both on and off screen but is this movie class above the rest or mixed bag!! Plus, we go back to TV Corner and check out Bloodride episode 2!! And so much more!!!
