The Skeleton Boys

Sadistic presence!  Grieving family! Flashlights! This week the boys, become trapped in a closet only to meet THE BOOGEYMAN!!

The Boogeyman is a adaptation of a short story, written by Stephen King. The name is not original but is not a franchise or a remake. It's a standalone movie with atmosphere and consequences. But is The Boogeyman creepy fun or should hide in the dark? Plus, we go back to TV Corner we check out the short ULISES and of course the conversation turns to fish anatomy!  And so much more!

A real horror classic and the debut of movie icon...Freddy Kreuger! A simple concept, what if you die in your sleep? Wes Craven perfectly weaves shocking imagery and grounded terror. Nightmare on Elm Street is a 80s classic but does it still hold up? Plus, we share final thoughts on watching the Nightmare series in reverse!

Our Spooky Special, Dreaming With Freddy continues! This week, the boys watch A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors and A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge!!

Two very different sequels, both less dark than the original, but both are favorites among series fans. Freddy's Revenge was overlooked in contrast of Dream Warriors which has been favorite since its release. I've always admired Freddy's Revenge courage to be different and Dream's Warriors pop sensibility. Join us all month long, as we look back at Nightmare on Elm Street in reverse!!!

Our Spooky Special, Dreaming With Freddy continues! This week, the boys watch (A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child 1989) & (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master 1988)

untenable. It's the best way I can describe the next series of movies in the nightmare series. A lot of ideas, some new, some old but it's one constant... Freddy, can't be overlooked. So much focus is turned on its villain. But is this worth the watch? Join us all month long, as we look back at Nightmare on Elm Street in reverse!!!

For the first time the boys are covering two wildly different movies on one show! The Double Feature!! Two movies picked by John and Rolando!
Jethica is a movie that deals with heavy themes like obsession but director Pete ohs distills these themes with dark sense humor. It’s a movie that you never see coming.

The Deadly Spawn is an inspired invasion movie. It’s a low budget movie that is gory but with a big heart. And so much more!!

First communion! A conservative town! An old doll! This week the boys take some drugs at a nightclub only to be haunted by THE COMMUNION GIRL!!

The Communion Girl is a ghost story set in the 80s. It draws inspiration from many other horror, suspense movies. Set in Spain, it was refreshing to see horror movies set outside of the United Sates. But is The Communion Girl successful or filled with cliches? So no TV Corner but we are checking out an episode from the series Atlanta, titled "Teddy Perkins" from Season 2.

Sinister parents! Knocking on the wall! Dark secrets! This week the boys meet a eight year old boy and his pumpkin patch loving parents only to get caught up in a COBWEB!!

Samuel Bodin's COBWEB is built to be strange and unusual and its thanks to ominous cinematography. The mystery of Cobweb could be considered a misdirection and waits until the last act to show its hand. Is COBWEB a sound spooky treat or a predicable mess? So no TV Corner but we are checking out an episode from the series Buffy The Vampire Slayer titled "Hush" season 4 ep 10!

A small town in Nebraska! Ruined crops! irresponsible adults! This week the boys join a bunch of kids massacring adults only to become CHILDREN OF CORN!!

This is the 11th entry in the Children of the Corn franchise. Again, this is a reboot by Kurt Wimmer and is a brisk 90 minutes. GMOs is the new take on this franchise and is relevant now to middle America. So is Children of the Corn a fresh take or nothing special? So no TV Corner but we are checking out an episode from the series Netflix's Haunted Season 2 episode 6 "Born Cursed". And so much more!
