Actress & Model (and probably soon to be voicover): Mary Amerson joins TSS this week. Mary talks about moving from North Carolina to Los Angeles to pursue her goal of being an actor in Hollywood. We also talk about relationships, ghosting, dating, tv/movies, leggings....and too much to remember in this description. Mary also talks about holding down her regular day job at the very popular coffee shop, 'Pricilla's Coffee' in Burbank California then going on auditions + photo shoots in her spare time. We also get a dose of her many different voiceovers + accents she really didn't know she possessed. This is a switch up from the previous episodes I've featured but is still no less insightful and entertaining. 

TSS welcomes longtime friend and co-worker, DJ Fuze. Fuze is a live mix radio DJ on the afternoon drive's The Cruz Show heard daily on iHeartMedia's REAL92-3FM Los Angeles. Fuze speaks about his love and history of becoming a DJ and his dream to mix live on-air at Power106FM. Fuze began his DJ journey circa 2000 teaching himself how to DJ, scratch, and blend at the age of 15. Eventually he was given an opportunity to enter a contest to mix live on-air at Power. We also take a trip down memory lane of the Jump Off Mixes Fuze & Sketch mixed and produced together equaling a total of 10 mixes over 10 years. Fuze is known for his shy demeanor, but make no mistake-this man is a quiet GIANT when he's on the turntables. This episode is a special dedication to all the DJ's out there that share the same passion and desire as Fuze does for the DJ'ing craft.  

Host and star of Big Boy's Neighborhood on REAL92-3FM Los Angeles: Big Boy joins this very special edition of TSS. Big is a radio broadcaster, host, actor, and most important an amazing loving husband and father to his wife and 2 kids. We get an extremely rare inside peek into his early memories growing up with his mother Ida and his brothers and sisters. He shares his struggles and what is was like to be homeless (but NOT helpless). Big lets us in how the Baka Boyz played a key role in his career path and what it was like for his very first time on-air at Power106FM with Richard "Humpty" Vission. We also learn exactly how he created his most famous crank call segment, "Phonetap". There is so much knowledge and lessons you will learn in this podcast not just about Big Boy's radio career and history, but also about life. Chuck Dizzle of REAL92-3FM visits TSS this week. Chuck is a radio broadcaster, DJ, and one half of the Homegrown Radio Podcast he hosts alongside DJ Hed. We start this episode with Sketch publicly apologizing to Chuck for an incident that happened years ago. Chuck shares his rise to radio and the many flaming hoops he had to jump through in order to achieve his dream of being on-air on Los Angeles FM radio. Chuck talks about giving up alcohol after showing up to work inebriated and having a run in with the law. We also get a Chuck Dizzle exclusive family announcement. 

EJ joins TSS on this weeks episode. EJ is a radio broadcaster and TV host. EJ talks about his humble beginnings in New Jersey, to Texas, eventually landing himself in Los Angeles where he now hosts the night show on iHeartMedia's flagship station 102.7KIISFM. We also learn how EJ used his grandmother's basement as a makeshift radio station to create demo tapes that would lead him to his very first on-air gig. 

DJ Lezlee joins TSS for this special episode. Lezlee formerly co-hosted + DJ'd for 'The Cruz Show' on REAL92-3 FM (KRRL) Los Angeles. Lezlee lets you in on how she got her start in DJ'ing and who inspired her along the way. We learn in detail how she got hired by Doc Wynter (Program Director) for what would be her first major market radio gig. Lezlee also opens up about her sexuality and coming out to her family. Special thanks to Lezlee for allowing us to learn what it's really like for a (gay) female DJ to work in a mostly (straight) male dominated industry. This is an important episode that everyone should hear.
