The SKOR North Twins Show | a Minnesota Twins podcast

Ramie Makhlouf picked the Twins to win the AL Central last offseason and the guy has an optimistic personality. He now says that the Minnesota Twins' offseason is on the brink of disaster - a failure to add meaningfully to a team that needed more pitching to advance in the playoffs.

Derek Wetmore is left alone on the beach of optimism, and the extended metaphors stretch through the energetically charged show. The two were separated shortly after this recording but they claim they're still friends.

Topics: Rich Hill, Homer Bailey, Michael Pineda, Twins pitching, trade problems, Twins 2020 offseason, C.J. Cron's replacement.

The Twins didn't sign Gerrit Cole, Stephen Strasburg, Dallas Keuchel, Madison Bumgarner, Zack Wheeler or Hyun-jin Ryu. ... Surely, they must be up to something, right?

Patrick Reusse says that they ARE up to something to address the 2020 roster, but we just can't figure out what that is. Pat's joined by Derek Wetmore to sort through the offseason so far, the division, and sort out the contenders in the A.L. Central. It's Reusse on Baseball, pre-Christmas edition.

Are you OK with the Twins not signing MadBum? You're in Derek Wetmore's camp.

The two SKOR North Twins Show hosts discuss the legendary lefty signing with the Diamondbacks -- at a time when the Minnesota Twins still need to add pitching to their stable. Is 5 years, $85 million too much to ask? And if you DID miss out on Wheeler + Bumgarner, what's the fallback plan?
