Hello everyone! I hope your week has been amazing so far! This week, I wanted to continue where I left off with my "mini series" about being in a "cult." Just to preface, I wasn't actually in a cult, but it was a ministry program that had some quirky structuring to it. Please be aware that I am in no way talking ill about it, but deconstructing the parts that were not appropriate and I'm aware that other people had different experiences from the program. Today's episode encompasses the "good" parts about the environment that I was in when I attend the ministry program and more lessons too. Once again, these are my own experiences, perspective, and feelings about the program and the topics that are involved in today's episode. The takeaway for this episode is the power of community, how I found my passion, and filtering those who use God as a channel to push their own agendas, but losing the identity of Christ in their talk. It's a long episode, but I hope you enjoy!
