Hey everyone, here is a small update on what's been going on in life and why I've been a bit M.I.A.  Don't worry, we will be returning to our regular schedule program moving forward!  I got a lot of news for this week and hopefully more stuff the next episode.  Thank you for sticking with me and know I'm always in your corner!

Welcome back, everyone! This week I continued with my conversation about my ministry program and how some of the stuff was a bit...odd.  Join me for some more weird stories, some things I had to deal with as alumni, and even some other stories from people who shared their stories with me.  This is not in any way to shame the leadership or the program that I attended but to point out some of the experiences I had and how I learned to be better from those moments in time.

The age-old question...was I in a cult?  It's sort of a joke, but for three years of my life, I think sort of was.  I went to a ministry program for three years and left with a lot of friends, memories, baggage, and a bit more legalistic ways to be a "Christian."  Today, I share some of my own experiences about that program and even a few small details that probably wasn't kosher at the time when the program was running or when I was still part of that church as a whole.  So buckle in and enjoy the ride!

Memories are weird.  This past week, my friend and I broke out our old 8th-grade yearbooks.  It was a great time walking down memory lane with her.  A lot of laughs and a handful of confusing moments.  When I thought more about some different memories, I recalled a few unique ones.  I share some of those stories this week and bring some perspective to my life and yours!  I hope you enjoy this episode and guess what, my birthday is this week, so you got to listen!

Do you ever compare yourself to others?  Do you compare yourself to old versions of yourself?  I catch myself doing that throughout the different seasons of my life.  This week I unpack why I do that and why maybe you do that too.  Perhaps we're taught that or get used to it because of social media.  The focus of our lives is to grow in our own path instead of trying to hop onto someone else's.  If we do, we'll get disappointed because we will never be able to fit in the mold that we wish we were in.  Let's stay in our lane and become the best version of who we need to be.  

Are you a healthy person?  I like to think that I am, but in reality, I might be lacking in some areas.  This week I talk about my current health status and how I'm trying to improve it.  I have some goals attached to being healthy too.  I believe we owe it to ourselves to be healthy and I'm not talking about the gym (this time).  Are we working at our peak performance or are we just not aware of that level?  Join me as I share my thoughts and hopes for myself and for you!  

Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode!  This week is a continuation of the last episode.  Last time I talked about being worthy and this week I'm connecting that with this week's topic, pursuit.  When I was younger and as I continue to grow up, I've always been taught to pursue, but hardly have I been taught to be pursued.  Perhaps you're similar to me or maybe it's the other way around.  Maybe you've always been pursued, but never had a chance to pursue what you want.  I dive in a bit deeper into these two forms of life and reveal how we should try the other side, find our value in our worth, and cut the sales pitch that others are trying to sell us.  Enjoy this episode and I'll catch you on the next one!
