This week the team are on holiday, (well Dan is at least). But rather than leave you disconsolate and empty-handed, here are a load of bits from shows gone past, and most of them are old enough that they shouldn't be too fresh in your memory and should therefore still be entertaining.

It seemed like there was a lot going on this week- new sink hole news, advice on how to deal with overly-chatty baristas, more questions answered by Italians, at least two of the team embarrassed themselves, and a report on how we can one day all live in peace. Now I read it back, that does seem like a lot of stuff.

On this week's show there was a dog that became a mayor, a couple who showed their love through a big lump of congealed fat, and a thorough analysis of the work of Craig David. All talked about by three young chaps in a studio, and an extra one on the phone.

Despite Dan's best efforts, there is a bit more talk about USBs than he'd like. Still, there's plenty of other things to take his mind off it, like a chance to critique some garage lyrics, and Ian tests the team on their knowledge of a musical genre with some funny band names.

Dan and the team trawl through the weighty news stories of the week to make them easily digested for you. This week they include: a giant tortoise gone AWOL, a South Korean chocolate balloon, and the worst passengers on a plane ever.

They also set a new task for Owen to investigate, and Dan shows us all how to become nicer commuters.

Dan hasn't won the lottery, none of the chaps have drunk anything too quickly, and the office hasn't yet been overrun by autonomous Ipads. That might make the show sound like nothing's happening, but that's not true- some stuff definitely happened, and you should listen to this to find out what that was.

If you've ever wanted to spice up your marriage, learn about sinkholes, or just keep abreast with what's happening to giant inflatable animals in China, then this podcast is for you- because this week, those are just some of the topics the team discuss.

There's a chance that a few of you didn't listen to this show live, given that it was during the final football match of the World Cup, but that's ok because we've taken out the talky bits, and put them all together in this podcast...

Dan returns with Ian (and a special appearance from Owen!). They put some online reviews to music, discuss why the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are so confused, and there's even a section on science. To say "It's all going on" would be overstatement but it is free, so don't complain too much...
