This week we start off with a little look at our computer setups and talk about MNMLSM, or minimalism to us common folk. Jess Burges is a photographer from Northland who's looking at a new editing station so we try and find a solution for her - see if you agree!

Then Thom gets his list out and we look into the reasons why we're not so tempted to head over to Canon for the frothy new mirrorless R5 and R6. Don't get us wrong, they're amazing cameras... so why aren't we quite sold?

Listen, Snappers. There aren't too many weddings happening right now, hence our slower than usual recording schedule. Things are quite peachy in NZ but in Aus things are still uncertain. Greg and Thom have been doing lots of non-wedding tasks but we still managed to get together to talk shop.

Today our topics meander through various territories. We touch base on Covid-related postponements (how can we not?). We move on to the dreaded google algorithm and what happens when this is updated (hint: your rankings might suffer). We then discuss the dreaded email from a client: 'we love our photos BUT.....'

Wassup Snappers!!!??? It's hard to explain... two wedding photographers who are currently more or less unemployed and have nothing wedding-related to talk about, sit down expecting to have a horrible time full of awkward pauses and myriad ums and ahs... yet what occurs is spontaneous banter that rivals some of the best five-day cricket test match commentators from the 1990s... this is episode 92.

We launch straight into Sony rumours, no mucking around here, then reflect on some surprising booking stats (Thom has epic stats... admittedly Greg does also). Then the meat on the bone... what's up with all these companies going to monthly payments? Do we like it? Then there's the whole 'spelling the couple's name wrong on the album cover' that old chestnut.
