This episode is part 4 of Jordan Shreeve's interrogation tape.  This interview was conducted November 8, 2018 at the Van Buren, Arkansas police department.  In this episode detective Marsh will be questioning Jordan.  You will then hear Jordan talking to his ex wife, and mother of his daughter, Pam.

(1) The knocking sound on the wall is Eva Millard beating on the wall of the room next door
(2) Jordan knocking on the door asking for water, to smoke, & to call his mom shows that Jordan did not know he had the right to leave freely.
(3) Detective Marsh responds to Jordan's request to call his mother with "were deciding what to do about that"... let me remind you that Jordan was not under arrest. He has the right to make any, or any many, phone calls as he wished to make just like he had the right to get up & leave - though it's clear he didn't know that.

On this episode I will be reading for you all directly from Van Buren Police Department's official records. Detective Marsh as well as Detective / Sargent Perry wrote summaries describing the interrogations of Jordan Shreeve & Eva Millard conducted on November 8th 2018 following the discovery of Olivia's body.  Reading directly from official police records allows you to hear, from the words of the detectives on this case, what they had to say about the interrogations & what they put down for the official records.

Now... we could debate the accuracy of their version of events.. or the inaccuracy of them... but instead we want you to hear the interrogation tapes for yourself! Let you hear word for word what really happened in those interrogation rooms! After this episode, the next several episodes will be Jordan Shreeve & Eva Millard's interrogation tapes.  The tapes will be played, in their entirety, with the exception of dead time (no questions being asked / just sitting in the room) which will be noted on the audio as well as the official transcripts.

In episode two we will be going over who arrived on the scene, when they arrived, what they claimed to have done, & when they left.  I will be reading directly from the Van Buren Police Department Incident Reports written by each officer that arrived on the scene.

Documents used to produce this episode: Van Buren Police Department CAD Notes (Dispatch Notes), Van Buren Police Department Incident Reports from each individual officer on the scene, Coroner Report by Deputy Coroner Steve Edwards.

JUST SOJO KNOW EPISODE NOTES: 

• Out of 16 people on the crime scene log ( 6 officers, 3 fire fighter, 2 EMS, 2 Prosecutors, & 3 Coroners) there is no body cam footage from this day.
• The CAD Notes (Dispatch records) do not show all three calls made & even show Jordan's second call as being on file at 12:21pm which is not possible seeing as officer Decroo claims to have been on the scene at 12:20.
• Officer Decroo describes Eva Millard as "not crying but seemed distraught" whereas officer Wooten described Eva Millard as "in a state of near hysteria".
• Officer Decroo says he overhead Eva Millard say "she must have tried to climb out of her bassinet/pack and play that was at the foot of the bed and fallen out".  Officer Wooten stated that Eva Millard told him "she must have crawled out of the play pen where she sleeps and hit her head. She re-interated several times that the child had a history of climbing out of the play pen."
• Eva Millard told officer Wooten "she last saw her (Olivia) around 4:00am" but then changes her story & told officer Wooten that "baby had been sick and kept them up all night long"  & then again mentions "finally got her to sleep around 4:00am."
• Officer Decroo states "I could hear the mother getting loud and crying in the living room as CPL Wooten" where as Officer Wooten states "I took her to the kitchen area of the house and had her sit down and collected her information."
• The Crime Scene Log on file with Van Buren Police has Deputy Coroner Steve Edwards arriving on scene at 2:17 & leaving the scene at 3:17.  Deputy Coroner Steve Edwards Coroner Report he has himself arriving on the scene at 2:10 & leaving the scene at 4:08 which we know is also incorrect as EXIF DATE on images taken by Steve Edwards & Detective Marsh show they were still photographing Olivia's body on the scene at 4:09.  Meaning they would of had to finish bagging the body, wrapping up the crime scene, etc. 
• NOTE that the blood evidence described by officers is also inaccurate.  Officer Decroo states "noticed more blood pooled on the seat of the couch and in the hallway." There is, in fact, no blood "pooled" on the couch, however, there are two blood stains on the couch.  The blood "in the hallway" is also one drop of blood that was smeared. 
• NOTE that on Deputy Coroner Steve Edwards report he listed a core body temp for Olivia's body stating that temperature to be "83.5" however, there is no picture of the core body temp or the liver temp in evidence at all.

This episode is the introduction episode to season two of The SoJo Files titled Shreeve.  However, you wont be hearing from me or Chad in this episode!

This is a special introduction & who better to kick off season two, introducing the case, then Jordan Shreeve himself.  As you can imagine, no one wants to relive the worst moments of the life.  However, as Jordan told me, "I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through".   That requires Jordan, as well as his family, & other lives affected by this tragedy to have to relive this tragic time in their lives.

This is the first time Jordan has ever spoken publicly about his case. 

Jordan will be reading a quick summary about some of the many things he experienced during this time, a brief overview of that morning, & then will he will address you, the listener, directly.

Jordan mentions in his intro that he wanted you to hear from him first, the person who's case is the focus of season two.  I think this is great! As a true crime fan myself, I think people often times lose sight of the fact that these cases involve real people & their real lives - something we all need a reminder of.
