It seems people find it far more difficult to pick up a book and grow mentally than to pick up heavy weights at the gym. Is it a wonder that beneficial knowledge is slowly leaving us replaced with ignorance. People seem to always have money for entertainment, useless pursuits or eating out, yet have no money to buy books, pay for valuable courses to gain new skills for life. Is it a wonder that their financial stability is compromised? People have no time to learn the most important skills and knowledge for life’s happiness and those of their children but have plenty of time to go on holidays, partying weekends away and mindless fun in front of the big screen.

If you’re wondering why you may in a bad state, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually, maybe you need to consider, where all your precious time is going and what you’re spending your life on? Just little changes in what you do, can create huge changes in what happens to you and your future.

Those who think they know all the answers, leave no room to learn and grow and become ignorant of knowledge. There are two types of people who prevent themselves from growth and learning. Those who are too shy, or afraid to look stupid to ask and those who are too arrogant and think they know everything. Remember always that above each knower there is someone who is more learned. If you can always remember this it will give you the courage to ask and learn, as you will no longer feel incompetent or incapable. Also if you think you know everything it will humble you to others with far greater knowledge.

Do not mistake information, experience and wisdom as the same type of knowledge. If you have experienced everything in life and tried everything possible and grasped all the facts and truths of the universe, you still wouldn’t know everything. Stop creating reasons for preventing your growth and humble yourself to knowledge, then that knowledge will raise you higher than you can ever imagine.

The worst type of people to admire and idolize are those that provide no real value except self-satisfaction through eye candy. If the people you worship and fill your newsfeed with do not push you or advice you the methods and actions to get to where they are then they are not really providing you value. They are filling their own needs of being important, glorified and admired. Its not easy to unfriend celebrities and people you’ve known about all your life or your social gatherings speak about. You don’t want to feel left out, but here’s the thing, maybe the friends you hang out with don’t want what you want out of life.

If you want success then you must surround your influences, newsfeed with valuable content that teaches the ways to get there and not just the end results. None of us want to see continuous photos of a bank statement of a billionaire, we want to know how they got it. Do the same for all your important things in your life. Find out what you should be looking for in the people you follow to know if they provide you with value in your life.

There's always something to be learned from the complainers. Don't do what they do and you'll find yourself gaining a lot more than what they are. Every negative person with a negative attitude, mindset and lack of goals should help you to put your own life in focus. Use the lives of others you are afraid of, to give you the motivation through fear of becoming life them to succeed.

Use the poor mindset attributes of people you meet and interact with, to question your own mindset and lack of determination. Use the excuses of others to prevent yourself using the same excuses. Discipline yourself as though you are telling off someone you care about when they are doing something wrong or harmful to themselves. Use others as a reminder for what you don’t want to become when what they are is unsuccessful and miserable.

Train your mind more than your body. At the least train it as much as you would go to the gym on a regular basis. And you don’t have to leave your home or pay a monthly fee. The brain is the most complex organ in our body and too many of us neglect it because the rewards of intellectual growth are not so easy to see. The compliments are not so easily found as you would with gaining a great physique or muscular body.

However, the results are far greater and long lasting. They form as knowledge and wisdom to change your life and the life of others by sharing that knowledge. What you don’t know about nice guys/girls. Most women/men see them as boring or predictable. Nice guys/girls may seem boring and too nice but many a times they possess a high sexual energy which is released in privacy because they value their moral standards. It’s not easy to be nice to those that are bad to you, its only something a nice guy/girl can do. So, women who are attracted to men who seem exciting, know that true excitement is to be with someone who is ready to commit to you, your happiness and your security, not someone who will play you for a while and keep you hanging. A partnership speeds up the process of your success by means of combined help. You should look for partners when you need help and have created enough momentum to show you are serious in succeeding. Trying to find supporters and partners early on is difficult with just an idea that most would be skeptical about. I know many of us hear the term self-development and start to have  a generic idea of its meaning. It paints an idea of hard work towards  being better than what you are now.
