I was looking at some pictures from years ago and noticed the differences in how their closets looked. Seems like as soon as we get back into a routine after the holidays, the laundry and clothing becomes a big stressor for us moms. So in this episode, I share my top ways to stop overspending on clothes for your children.
When I take a look at what is different now compared to how I shopped for my children 10 years ago, it has changed so much, and the first 4 tips are the most helpful when shopping.
Now, I know what will work and what is cute, but should stay at the store, what needs to be donated at the end of each season, and how to know if items will actually be used by my children!
Don't get me wrong, as in earlier episodes, you know I have had some challenges finding things my children like, and have had to return a good bit of what I had picked out for my youngest. (She has strong opinions!) She is at an age where she is ROUGH on her clothing and about every month she has one or two pairs of pants with holes in the knees. She is in-between sizes too, making it challenging to find pants that fit her well, and are comfortable.
-Know their colors, shapes, sizes, and sensitivities
-Know where to invest and where to bargain
I pray this blesses you and helps you to simplify the workload for you and your family!
