Laurine Overstreet Johnson, 72, of Rockville, passed away on March 22, 2025, at Mobile Infirmary. She was born on Sept. 2, 1952, to parents Woodie C. Overstreet and Dorothy Sheffield Overstreet. Mrs. Johnson loved her family, cooking, canning, and spending time in her garden. She ran her own interior decorating company for several years and enjoyed sharing her knack of decorating with her friends. She was a member of Calvary Baptist and taught Sunday School there. Martha Jo Bedwell, 70, of Jackson, passed away on March 27, 2025, at Jackson Medical Center. She was born in Jackson on Jan. 24, 1955, to parents Angus M. Hoven and Mable Hoven. A graduate of Jackson High School, she later married Raymond Bedwell and retired from Teledyne. Theodore Watrous Garrett Jr., 76, of Grove Hill, passed away peacefully at his home on March 9, 2025. He was born on May 31, 1948, to parents Theodore Watrous Garrett Sr. and Bernice May Garrett in Grove Hill.
