Mrs. Martha Baggett Shipp, age 76, passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2025 at Monroe County Hospital in Monroeville. Mrs. Shipp was born in Conecuh County where she remained a lifelong resident. She was a beautician for 36 years and a member of Range Freewill Baptist Church. Nettie Marks McLendon, 91, of Jackson, passed away peacefully on Feb. 23, 2025. She was born on Jan. 26, 1934, in Jackson, to parents Rudolph Marks and Mary Thompson Marks.
