The Southern Outdoorsmen Hunting Podcast

Many of you know Jacob Emery from The Hunting Grounds TV, a popular youtube hunting show. This year Jacob was able to take a great buck on LBL in Tennessee, along with another great buck on his property in Kentucky! We go through the stories of these bucks and how his deer season went, then transition into turkey talk! Your not going to want to miss this one!

Don't forget to tune into the Southern Outdoorsmen Strut Report which will launch for this turkey season on March 1, 2019!

One year ago this week The Southern Outdoorsmen Podcast and The Southern Ground Podcast began! In celebration of the milestone we got together to celebrate and wrap up deer season with a big discussion on the hunting beast style of hunting in the South. Between all of us we have roughly 10 years of experience with this style, so we all give our thoughts on ideas on if it works, how it needs to be tweaked to be more effective in the south, and wether we will continue utilizing beast tactics in the future.

This year we experimented with a handful of new products and today we break them down by our favorites and least favorites! Todays episode is special in the fact that we have the privilege of speaking with two true woodsmen, Kevin Murphy and Ben George. Many of you probably know Kevin from his many appearances on MeatEater. Ben George is Andrews mentor who not only improved his skills as a hunter, but kept him hunting in a time when Andrew needed it the most! This episode is jam packed with knowledge, tips, stories and laughs!
