What you fear the most reveals where you trust God the least.
.
I felt resistance in my heart because it forced me to face a harsh reality: There are areas in my life where I don’t fully trust God.
.
No one is without fear, but it’s important we occasionally stop and take inventory of those fears.
.
What’s weighing on us? What burden are we carrying? What keeps us up at night?
.
“If you’re terrified about losing your children, could it be that you aren’t trusting God to keep them safe?”
.
Our heaviest weights are the things we need to be praying most about. These are what we need to give to God above all others.
.
Take a minute, maybe even write it down, and think about where your fear is soaring and in turn, your faith lacking. Then pray for trust and help.
.
“God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-descipline.” 2 Timothy 1:7 NLT —
