Some days I hate AI.
Other days I'm like, oh, this is fucking amazing.
In this episode, I'm sharing where I am in my own exploration of AI right now: how I'm actually using it in my work and business, where it genuinely saves me time, where I think it can give tiny businesses access to capabilities that previously required money or a whole team, and where I absolutely do NOT want it taking over.
We're also getting into the much bigger questions around creativity, education, critical thinking, intellectual property, privacy, environmental impact, regulation, and what happens when we start outsourcing too much of our thinking to technology.
Because for me, the interesting question isn't simply whether we should use AI.
It's how we use it while remaining deeply human, informed, critical, and very fucking clear about what we actually want to create ourselves.
This is very much an ongoing exploration rather than a finished position — and I'd love to hear yours too.

As artists, I we need to stop buying into the idea that we're simply not good with money or maths. Financial literacy is learnable, and you're very much capable of understanding your own money well enough to make informed and powerful decisions with it.
Your financial situation is a situation — not a character assessment.
So wherever you're starting from, let's look at it, learn what we need to learn, and build bigger from there.

What happens when you realize the next stage of your life is wide open — but you have absolutely no idea yet what it's going to look like?
Right now, I have a collection of Post-it notes with some pretty radical ideas for what I could do next. Some contradict each other, some would change our lives quite significantly, and none of them are decisions yet.
In this episode, I'm talking about being in that weird, exciting in-between: when you know things are changing, but you haven't arrived at the answers yet.
About dreaming before bringing in practicality. Exploring completely different possible futures. Letting ideas contradict each other. And allowing a big vision to take time instead of immediately turning it into a five-step plan.
Because sometimes the decision to change happens in a moment, while the actual transformation has a really fucking long middle.
Maybe this episode will give you a little nudge to dream bigger too — and ask yourself where you actually want to go next.

Do I actually hate frames? How do I want my work to actually exist within a space?
Lately, I've found myself going down a whole new rabbit hole around framing and art presentation.
In this episode, I'm sharing where I am in that exploration right now: the gaps I've noticed in my own art education, my first experiments in the studio, the practical questions that immediately arise, and why I'm beginning to see art presentation as its own area of research within my artistic practice.
Join me while I figure out my position on all of this in real time — and no, this isn't a before-and-after episode. This is going to be a longer journey you can come along on.

Today, there's no neat lesson or five-step takeaway. I'm taking you into the middle of it instead — while things are still evolving, questions are still open and I have absolutely no idea where some of them will lead.
A lot is moving right now. Not in a beautifully curated, everything-makes-sense kind of way. More in a natural, slightly whirlwindy, creatively alive kind of way.
I'm talking about getting back into the studio, artistic research becoming a bigger part of my practice again, craving more connection with the art world, wildly dreaming up different versions of our future, getting rid of a ridiculous amount of stuff, and that strange feeling of possibilities opening up that haven't been there for more than a decade.
So this episode is really just: come hang out with me in the middle of it. I suspect quite a few of these threads will turn into their own episodes as I figure out where they're going.

What happens when your art business is thriving... but your income is still tied to everything you create?
In this episode, we're exploring the Scaling Creator stage—the point where your business is working, but your vision has grown beyond simply creating and selling your next piece.
We'll talk about the shift from building a business to building an ecosystem, why scaling is as much an identity shift as a business strategy, and how to create a business that supports more impact, more freedom, and a life that doesn't depend entirely on your time and energy.
If you've been feeling called toward a bigger vision but aren't sure what comes next, this episode will help you see the possibilities waiting beyond your current way of working.

What happens when your art business finally works... but you're more exhausted than fulfilled?
In this episode, we're exploring the Seasoned Creator stage—the point where you've built a successful creative business, but the very thing you dreamed of begins pulling you away from the studio.
We'll talk about why growth starts to feel heavy, the identity shift from artist to leader, and why systems, support, and letting go become just as important as creativity itself.
If you've ever found yourself thinking, "I just want to get back into the studio," this episode will help you understand why—and what your next step might be.

The starving artist isn't just someone who struggles financially.
It's a stage many artists move through—where your creative voice is finally coming alive, but building a business still feels confusing, frustrating, or completely out of alignment.
In this episode, we're unpacking the starving artist myth, why traditional business advice often falls flat for creatives, and what actually needs to shift to move from hoping your art career works… to deciding you're going to make it work.
If you've ever wondered why visibility, selling your work, or showing up online feels so much harder than creating the art itself, this conversation is for you.

Building an art business doesn't start with marketing.
It starts with finding your artistic voice.
In this episode, we're exploring the Aspiring Artist stage—the season where your focus isn't on selling your work, but on discovering what you truly want to create, what your art stands for, and the kind of creative life you're dreaming of.
We'll talk about why rushing into business too soon can hold you back, how sharing your work helps you find your voice, and why making the "wrong" art is often exactly what leads you to the right work.
If you've ever wondered whether you're focusing on the right things at the right time, this episode will help you find some clarity.
