The ladies discuss how vets always want your pet to have a last name. It's a cat - it doesn’t have a birth certificate, last name, or a pension! Next, Amy and Maya's taste test from a new place called Bella’s Coffee Shoppe ends in an unexpected twist. This week's Animal Report features various office dogs, leading Amy to contemplate adding a new dog to the fam. Maya is jazzed about the show Song Exploder featuring REM's Losing My Religion. Take a deep dive into what Licorice Pizza means. Finally, Progressive Insurance has blatantly stolen the patented SOSS Approved/Denied segment for their new ad campaign. How rude. 

It's a sad day on SOSS street. Amy's dog Murphy has crossed the rainbow bridge. The consensus is anticipatory grief is worse sometimes than the feeling the actual grief. This week's concert report covers Father John Misty and the Bourbon & Beyond Fest. Turns out festival ticketing is soooooooo confusing now that you need a GD decoder ring to figure this shit out. Maya's movie review this week...Nightmare Alley = depressing. Amy is really loving Murder Ranch AKA Yellowstone right now, because hey...Beth is a broken person and also a God damn hero. Amy also teaches everyone that a doctor will never say, "He’ll need surgery…and stitches." Next up is a Grammy review where Amy has some very direct words about Carrie Underwood. Also, Jon Batiste is the king of the Grammys and king of the world. Also, he pulls off a cape. Enjoy!
