This week Amy thinks her lack of enthusiasm for Halloween this year might signal the onset of a mini mid-life crisis - not the kind that a man has where he blows up his life, but a small one where you just aren't that jazzed to do certain stuff anymore. In Animal Report, the ladies catch up with Pablo Escobar's cocaine hippos and find out about their newly declared personhood. Maya reviews Colin Kaepernick's new Netflix show Colin in Black and White. Finally, during a political discussion, where Maya repeatedly mispronounces U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger's name, the gals decide to move into a cave on an island to get away from all of the nonsense. It turns out, moving into a dark cave is a bright light that they need!

Wow. There's a lot in this one this week. Amy and Maya discuss coyotes breaking their backs carrying the Nextdoor app. The ladies ask how do the hangover people function and why everyone is so nuts this October. Amy reviews the new James Bond movie, declaring there is way too much shooting. The ladies examine the new Limp Bizkit song and video "Dad Vibes" and end up very confused. There is talk of iconic mustaches, including Burt Reynolds, Tom Selleck, and of course, Wilfred Brimley. Next, Amy and Maya examine the phenomenon of actors that sing and singers that act. Finally, in Approved/Denied, they listen to audio of senator Richard Blumenthal incoherently rambling during a senate hearing about technology he's never used.

Next, they examine Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly's new habit of just sitting with their tongues touching instead of kissing, leading Amy to conclude you're hot, you have sex...we get it already! Finally, Lil Nas X twerks, the Fugees reunite, & The Crown reveals that The Royal Family is a pack of a-holes. Oh...also, that Fancy Like Applebee's song is lazy.

This week the ladies confirm once again via anecdotal evidence that they are twin brothers. Amy books a burger boat cruise for her wedding anniversary. What could be better than burgers, a sunset cruise, and lake history? Maya and Amy discuss all the money they have tied up in postponed concerts and how tweeting Eddie Vedder is a better strategy for getting a refund than contacting Ticketmaster. Maya reviews the new Marvel movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Amy is very excited for Maya to see the new Dune movie because Maya is a Dune super-nerd. Finally, the ladies dissect Drake's Certified Lover Boy album art by Damien Hirst.
