  • I Let My Ego Call it Love - Episode 17

In this episode of The Spiritual Realest, I’m talking about ego, identity, control, and the way pride can disguise itself as love, loyalty, purpose, or protection.

Using patchouli as the grounding oil of this episode, I reflect on how ego can take over when we attach our identity to a relationship, a role, or an image we are afraid to release. I share a deeply personal story about toxic love, control, obsession, and the moment I finally had to choose freedom over possession.

This episode is about learning that not every thought is truth and not every attachment is alignment. It is a reminder to pause before reacting, observe before defending, and ask ourselves the harder questions: Am I trying to prove something? Am I acting from fear? Am I trying to control something just so I can feel secure?

Because ego reacts, but spirit observes. And real love should never require me to lose myself just to keep it.

  • What Religion Took from Us - Episode 16

In this episode of The Spiritual Realest, I’m having an honest conversation about religion, power, and what many of us were taught to believe without question.

I talk about the difference between being taught God and being taught religion, and how fear-based beliefs have shaped the way we see ourselves, our desires, our ancestors, our worth, and our relationship with the divine. This episode is not about telling anyone what they have to believe. It is about asking better questions, getting understanding, and recognizing where inherited teachings may have separated us from our own power.

With dragon blood as the scent of the day, we step into a conversation about protection, courage, spiritual strength, and spiritual warfare without fear-based religion. I share my personal perspective on Christianity, ancestral connection, identity, faith, and the importance of doing your own research.

This is a reminder to stop accepting everything just because it was handed down, and to begin asking what truly brings you closer to God, closer to yourself, and closer to the truth of your own bloodline.

    Heavenly minded, but earthly good.

  • The Peace in the Pause: When God Makes You Wait - Episode 15

In The Peace in the Pause, I’m reflecting on the season when COVID forced me to stop, breathe, and finally confront the exhaustion I had been pushing through for years. After running a restaurant, overworking my body, and trying to force the next move, the pause became uncomfortable, emotional, and necessary.

This conversation is about stillness as more than rest. It can be redirection. It can be protection. It can be the place where God rebuilds my faith, restores my body, and teaches me how to trust without needing to control every outcome.

I share how closed doors, failed pivots, and uncertainty eventually showed me that the pause was not punishment. It was preparation. Sometimes what feels like nothing happening is the very space where clarity, peace, and alignment begin to form.

If you have been feeling guilty for slowing down or afraid of what comes next, this is your reminder that pausing does not mean you are lazy. Stillness can be sacred. Rest can be obedience. And peace can meet you right in the middle of the unknown.

Take ten quiet minutes this week. No phone. No noise. No distractions. Just listen. You may hear exactly what you have been too busy to receive.

  • Stop Being a Slave to Being Less Than

In this episode of The Spiritual Realest, I’m talking about freedom in a deeper way.

Juneteenth is not just a date on the calendar. It is a reminder of what happens when people are kept bound by evil intentions, lack of knowledge, and systems that benefit from them not knowing they are already free. But that kind of bondage did not stop in the past. A lot of us are still mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and even religiously enslaved to things that no longer serve who we are becoming.

I’m asking the real question: what are you still allowing yourself to remain captive to?

A relationship? A job? A title? A tradition? A belief system? A version of yourself that was shaped by fear, obedience, survival, or validation?

In this conversation, I reflect on Juneteenth, mental slavery, religion, curiosity, spiritual knowledge, and what it really means to seek wisdom, understanding, and truth for yourself. We also talk about frankincense, spiritual elevation, divine truth, and how every path worth walking should lead you back to deeper awareness.

This week, I want you to sit with three questions:

    What have you always believed?
Why do you still believe it?
And does it still align with who you are today?

I’m Scarlett Draught, heavenly minded, but always earthly good.

Stop being a slave to being less than.

  • The Work of Faith

What happens when you believe something is supposed to happen, but every step forward feels like another delay?

In this episode, I talk about faith, frustration, waiting, and the uncomfortable space between knowing something is meant for you and actually seeing it show up.

For a long time, I thought faith was simply believing. What I eventually learned is that faith often asks something of us in return. Sometimes it asks us to wait. Sometimes it asks us to trust. And sometimes it asks us to do something that pushes us outside of what we've always known.

Let's have an honest conversation about patience, endurance, sacred waiting, and what it means to keep moving when it feels like nothing is moving at all.

I'm Scarlett Draught, heavenly minded but earthly good.

  • Sex Magic: Intention, Energy & Manifestation - Episode 12

Most people think sex is only about pleasure or procreation. But we know it's much deeper than that.

I'm diving into the spiritual practice of sex magic—the intentional use of sexual energy to manifest the life you desire. From love and healing to purpose, abundance, and personal transformation, we'll explore how sexual energy can become a powerful tool for creation when it's guided with intention.

    I'll walk you through:

    •  What sex magic is and what it isn't
    •  Why sexual energy is considered life-force energy
    •  How to set intentions before intimacy
    •  Creating an environment that supports manifestation
    •  The role of breathwork, visualization, and energetic alignment
    •  Why trust, surrender, and release matter just as much as desire

Whether you're exploring this practice alone or with a partner, this conversation invites you to think differently about intimacy, manifestation, and the creative power that already exists within you.

As always, take what resonates, leave what doesn't, and trust your own discernment.

I'm Scarlett Draught—heavenly minded, but always earthly good.

  • Era of Authenticity - Episode 11

In this episode, I sat down and responded to some of the comments, questions I've gotten on social media around spirituality, religion, ancestors, authenticity, and the way people react when someone chooses to think differently.

We talked about everything from Miss Cleo and spiritual gifts to Christianity, the Bible, ancestral connection, and why so many people struggle to let others walk their own path without judgment. Some moments were funny, some were intense, and some may really challenge your beliefs.

More than anything, this conversation reminded me that we are living in an era where people are craving authenticity and real honesty.

Whether you agree with me or not, I want this space to be one where people can question, think, reflect, and be fully themselves without fear.

I’m heavenly-minded, but always earthly good.

  • Letting Go of Labels - Episode 10

    This episode is deeply personal.

I’m talking about what happens when God forces you to release a version of yourself that once brought you success, validation, purpose, and applause. For me, that was owning a restaurant that became a cornerstone in the community before COVID changed everything overnight.

I share the grief of losing something we built with our own hands, the pressure of carrying labels that no longer fit, and the internal battle of deciding whether to keep chasing a title or finally choose myself. This conversation is for anyone struggling to let go of who they used to be, especially when that version of them was admired, successful, or deeply tied to their identity.

We’re unpacking the weight of labels, burnout, self-worth, purpose, capitalism, relationships, and what it really means to surrender the need to constantly produce in order to feel valuable.

You are more than your title.
    More than your productivity.
More than what people clap for.

Sometimes the most aligned thing you can do is let go.

I’m Scarlett Draught, Heavenly minded but earthly good.

  • Discernment is NOT Fear - Episode 9

For a long time, I thought discernment meant constantly being on guard. Watching people closely. Feeling every shift in energy. Preparing myself for disappointment before it even arrived. But over time, God showed me that discernment is not fear.

In this episode, I open up about what it means to truly evaluate the spirit instead of reacting from anxiety, confusion, or emotional overwhelm. I share personal experiences that taught me how to trust what I feel without allowing fear to control me, including moments where my spirit immediately knew something wasn’t right long before my mind could explain it.

We talk about intuition, spiritual boundaries, emotional awareness, peace, clarity, protection, and the difference between discernment and paranoia. I also share some of the spiritual practices and tools that help me realign myself when life feels chaotic, including prayer, Psalms, Reiki, rosemary, and intentional self-reflection.

I truly believe many of us were taught how to recognize danger, but never taught how to recognize peace. And sometimes God is not speaking through fear at all. Sometimes He’s speaking through stillness, clarity, and calm.

Discernment does not always tell you what to run from. Sometimes it tells you what you can finally walk into without fear.

  • I Prayed My Gifts Away - Episode 8

In this deeply personal episode of The Spiritual Realest, I open up about what it felt like growing up with spiritual gifts while carrying the pressure of being a minister’s child, battling guilt, hiding my sexuality, and trying to survive under the weight of religion and expectation.

For years, I believed I had to choose between being authentic and being connected to God. I share my experiences with prophecy, spiritual encounters, praying my gifts away, and the emotional exhaustion that came from constantly feeling like I had to be “on” for everyone around me while secretly struggling within myself.

This episode is about what happens when guilt becomes heavier than your gifts. It’s about the moment I realized that my spirituality and my authenticity were never supposed to be enemies. I talk about suppressing parts of myself to feel accepted, the freedom I found outside of religious shame, and the powerful realization that my gifts never actually left me — they were simply waiting for me to return to myself fully and honestly.

I also share spiritual practices and tools that helped me reconnect with my highest self, including lavender rituals, spiritual cleansing, and transformational healing practices that supported me on my journey.

If you’ve ever felt trapped between who you are and who you were taught you had to be in order to deserve God’s love, this conversation is for you.

I’m Scarlet Drought. Earthly good and heavenly minded.
