Our Aussie athletes have started off strong over the first few days of competitions, collectively taking homes 4 golds and 2 silvers.
Grace Brown won gold in the women's cycling individual time trial,
Jessica Fox won gold in the women's canoe slalom,
Ariarne Titmus won gold in the women's 400m freestyle,
another Gold was won by the Aussie women's 4 x 100m freestyle relay beating the previous OR by almost a second!
Elijah Winnington took second place in the men's 400m freestyle,
and the men's 4 x 100m freestyle relay team took our our second silver
The Tilly's clutched a victory out of the jaws of Zambia, winning 6 - 5 coming up from 2 - 5 at half time.
We currently sit 2nd overall, with Japan leading with 4 golds, 2 silvers and 1 bronze.
