Colton Iverson from Iberostar Tenerife of the Liga ACB and former Maccabi Tel Aviv center joins the program to talk about the upcoming Basketball Champions League Final Four this weekend in Antwerp, Belgium. Tenerife will play the host’s in the second game on Friday while the opener will pit Bologna and Bamberg. The Sports Rabbi will be onsite for the competition so make sure to keep abreast of all of the action from Belgium!

The Sports Rabbi Josh Halickman welcomed on board Dave Dudzinski, captain of the Antwerp Giants who will be playing in the Champions League Final Four in a semifinal clash against Tenerife. Dudzinski talks about playing in Belgium, the great joy of being able to advance to the Final Four and host the tournament, his college years at Holy Cross, NBA and European basketball and much, much more!

The Sports Rabbi was joined by Canadian basketball great Dwight Walton who today is a basketball analyst on TSN 690 in Montreal and an assistant coach with the Concordia Stingers as we spoke about his playing career in the Holy Land and beyond.

Roy Jankelowitz came on board to look ahead to the HUGE Maccabi Tel Aviv vs EFES Euroleague game on Thursday night as well as Hapoel Jerusalem’s 2nd Round of 16 contest against Neptunas on Wednesday as they hold a 12 point lead while also running down all of the Israeli league action including Maccabi’s win at Jerusalem this past Sunday night.

We also hear from Jerusalem forward Da’Sean Butler as he looks forward to the game versus Neptunas as well.

Brad Greenberg joins me on this week’s episode of The Sports Rabbi Show as we take a look back at his phenomenal career to date. We disusss Greenberg’s youth, his time in the NBA, working with Bill Walton, Patrick Ewing and the late Drazen Petrovic. The coach also talks about the 1996 draft when he took Allen Iverson as the General Manager of Philadelphia 76ers with the first pick.
