The Sports Rabbi Josh Halickman spoke to Derrick Williams from Bayern Munich as he readies to play Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday night at 21:00 in Israel. Williams, an NBA veteran is spending his first season in Europe which so far has been a smashing success. Lukas Feldhaus joins the program from Germany to talk about Bayern and their season to date while Roy Jankelowitz also comes on board to discuss the latest in Israel basketball news.

The Sports Rabbi welcomed on board James Anderson of Anadolou Efes as they prepare to host Maccabi Tel Aviv on Euroleague Gameday 8, Tuesday at 19:00 Israel time. Anderson is in his first season with the Istanbul based club and has played for Khimki and Darüşşafaka over the past few seasons while prior to that he was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs and also played for the Houston Rockets, the Philadelphia 76ers and Sacramento Kings of the NBA. We talk about the current Anadolou team and its early success, his NBA and European career while also talking about coach David Blatt, Omri Casspi and more!

DJ Strawberry from Gran Canaria joined the Sports Rabbi show as we looked at the forward's career to date, from his days in Jerusalem, the NBA and now with the Euroleague's newest team. The Sports Rabbi welcomed in Brian Sciaretta of American Soccer Now to discuss the appointment of Austrian Andi Herzog as Head Coach of the Israel National Team and some of his comments will surprise you. Also on board is Paul Zeise of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette to talk about Bnei Herzliya’s new point guard James Robinson and Aliyah Funschelle, Wichita State Men’s Basketball Beat Reporter for The Sunflower joined The Sports Rabbi to discuss Herzliya’s new big man Shaquille Morris.
