God comes to us in His Life. And when the Life of God brings life to our dying souls, our eyes are opened to see the Light. As is said in Acts 26:18 - “to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in Me".

That the "Word was with God” indicates a distinction of persons within the unity of the Godhead. The term Trinity describes a relationship not of three gods, but of one God - who is three persons. Trinity does not mean tritheism, that there are three beings who are God. The word Trinity is used in an effort to define the fullness of the Godhead both in terms of His unity and diversity.

The knowledge of Jesus as the Son of God fully communicates Jesus’ divinity. Throughout the Gospel according to John, the Apostle works diligently to make it clear that Jesus as the Son of God is central to the Gospel message. This is what transforms us from being wretched and worthless in death to become “living stones” upon which God is building His church

When we reflect and set our eyes on God who is Eternal, everything around us, the circumstances, the struggles, the pain, the loss, the mistakes and the gains begin to take perspective. Life now makes sense, everything comes together because vested in the Eternality of God is His Supreme Sovereignty as the King of all Kings and the Lord of all Lords
