Have you compromised your core values to adjust to the culture of today? God has standards for a nation. We can expect divine rebuke for not walking in God’s ways. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” (Ps 33:12). “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge … Since you have turned away from the doctrine of God” (Hosea 4:6). God’s standards for a nation are four divine institutions that represent authority. They are the foundation of a country. First: Volition—the freedom to choose. Second: Marriage, the most basic organization in the human race. Third: Family—raising children with norms and standards and authority orientation (Eph 6:1-3). Fourth: Nationalism—which protects citizens from self-destruction. The further we get away from these standards of God, the nearer our end as a nation.
