The Starman/Manhunter Adventure Hour

I know I said that this would be a normal episode, but due to Heroes Con, Joe Con, and my daughter performing in some local Jr. theater, well... We didn't get an episode recorded this month.

Instead I bring you another special episode.

First up, I give you this month's Solider Of The Month. Find out who it is, listen in. For a guess, you can check our our Facebook page for clues...

Then at 4 minutes fifty seconds, I bust out some letters with Postbox: The Pit!

Then at 14 minutes and 55 seconds, I wish our "founder", Larry Hama, a very special birthday.

Then finally at 21 minutes in, I start the Buzz Dixon interview. This is the same interview I played in episodes 16 and 17, but instead of being split up and played several months apart, I play the whole interview commerical free.

Welome to this special presentation of G.I. Joe: A Real American Headcast. This episode, join me as I welcome back, previous guest, Jim Beard.

This time Jim is joing us to talk about his new book, The Joys of Joe! I wanted to present this sooner than normal, as Jim will be at the Joecon this coming week with Kindle Worlds and his new book, The Joys of Joe. This book has stories from 30 different writers talking about their love of G.I. Joe and how they first found G.I. Joe. Check out stories from such creators as Jim Beard, Paul Kupperberg, and Jerry Ordway, plus many others.

Also, at Joecon, be on the look out for RaiderNerd, aka Kevin Reitzel. If you've been following our Facebook page, you know that he could be showing up there as any Joe... So be on the look out.

We will be back the first Tuesday of July with our normal episode.

Yo Joe!

Welcome back Joes. This month we have a two hour episode. Strap in and hang on... This month, I play the full intro from G.I. Joe The Movie instead of the snippet I normally do.

Wow... what a murder row of guest hosts....

First up, we continue our conversation from last month about the worst G.I. Joe vehicles. Thanks to Chris Gall for starting us on this path.

Please leave your feedback on the Facebook with your thoughts of the worst vehicles.

Then at about the 19 minute mark we finally begin talking about what we all showed up for... Issue 22 of G.I Joe. (Laughing)

No, we talk about issue 21 of the legendary series. Silent Interlude.

For an issue with no words, our hosts have a lot to say.

At the one hour mark, I give you a small break and play a couple of promos for our guests, before we return to our conversation.

Then at the one hour 35 minute mark, I send the guys to refill their Joe Colas, as I look at Postbox: The Pit!

Then the guys come back at about 1 hour 48 minutes for: The Solider of the Month.

Finally at the two hour mark, after our PSA and outro, I play some of our outtakes.
