Yes despite the WGA and SAG-AFTRA reaching agreements to end their strikes in November we had some real life stuff that pushed back this recording for a bit. But it’s here now and to celebrate our return we’re starting off by filling you guys in on what we’ve been up to while on hiatus, including big trips and big life events! We also reflect back on what 2023 was like for the podcast as a whole by looking at our Spotify wrapped stats and look forward to what 2024 holds for us as we get ready to head back out on the DCOM train with all of you!

Alright listeners it’s clear that you all don’t know responsibility or the value of the dollar because you, burned the kitchen a bit, okay then, so it’s time to get to work at the dairy factory. Already everyone it’s time to get on the bus and head to the sky as we aim to become the next generation of superheroes. Between Up, Up, and Away and the creation of the MCU, Disney had one other entry into the superhero genre and that is what we are discussing today in this super duper bonus episode. That’s right we’re talking the 2005 cinematic experience, Sky High. Gather round listeners, for a story that some may find, spooky. It is the story of a land very different than our own. A land full of magic and fantasy, a land ruled over my a king and a queen, a land that was under attack by darkness. A darkness that could only be defeated by the boy… I mean the twins who lived.
