This Mother’s Day, I woke up thinking about my mother differently — not as my parent, but as a person. Who was she in her 20s when she was building a marriage, raising children, and still figuring out life? What was she carrying that we never saw?

In this episode I’m sitting in a conversation my brother and I have been having lately — one about giving grace to our parents not for what we needed them to be, but for who they actually were. Because when you humanize your mother, something in you gets to heal.
If you’ve ever held an expectation your parent didn’t meet — this one is for you.
It’s Monday morning. I’m running late. I had a full, overstimulated weekend packed with friends, family and birthday celebrations. I forced myself to sleep so I could wake up early and record this episode. I’m still tired. I still have to go to work.
But this morning? I did yoga yesterday. I meditated this morning. And my meditation was about how to have a great day — because today IS a great day and I intend to show up great in it.
I literally lived this episode before I recorded it.

You think you go from 1 to 100? Baby — you woke up at 50.
In this episode I’m talking about what it really means to calm your nervous system, why we are more overstimulated than we realize, and how stillness — whether that’s meditation, yoga or just a quiet walk — can completely change the way you receive people and situations.
This is not about being perfect. This is about being consistent.
This week’s challenge: What are you doing to reduce your stress? What are you doing to destimulate your day and just be still?
Let’s do it together. Peace. 🕊️
Ever been told to keep your next move to yourself? Move in silence? What if that advice is actually keeping you stuck?
In this episode, I’m celebrating my 44th birthday and getting real about my growing stage and why this next chapter is NOT one I’m doing alone. From dodging cameras since high school to planning my first professional photo shoot, I’m sharing how I intentionally built a Trust Circle of three key people to help push me through my most uncomfortable moments.

This one is for the person who has always done everything alone — out of habit, not necessity.
This week’s challenge: Where are you trying to grow right now — and are you doing it alone out of habit or out of necessity?
Let’s stop doing alone what was never meant to be done alone. Let’s do it together.
I went to support my little sister in a play… and before anything even started, I noticed something.
The Director of the play entire family was there.
Not just sitting in the audience—but working, helping, showing up in every way possible. Her sisters, her parents… everybody had a role. And my first thought was simple:
That’s dope.
But the more I sat with it, the more I realized… it’s deeper than that.
Because everybody doesn’t have that.
Some people don’t have a family that shows up. Some people have never even seen what that kind of support looks like. And it made me pause and really reflect on my own life—because I have it.

I’ve had it.
And I don’t ever want to overlook something that’s really a blessing.
This episode isn’t just about recognizing support… it’s about understanding that this kind of love, this kind of presence, this kind of family—it’s not guaranteed.
And when you have it, you don’t just call it dope…
You honor it.
Peace.
In this episode, I share my reality of being a caregiver since childhood and how that role became part of my identity. Yes, it’s a blessing and an honor… but it’s also exhausting, overwhelming, and heavy.
I touch on the hardest parts:
* The struggle with control
* The weight of constant responsibility
* The drain of pouring into someone who may have lost their drive
But I also share how I’m learning to navigate it:
Talking it out. Asking for help. Taking breaks. Cherishing the good moments. And choosing not to give up.
If you’re in this space, you’re not alone.
Because caregiving can be meaningful… and still suck.
Peace.
It started with a simple question: “Do you know how to swim?”
And somehow, that question turned into a deep reflection on fear, childhood decisions, and the quiet ways we learn to deny ourselves.
In this episode, I share a moment with my cousin that took me all the way back to my younger years—running track, craving opportunity, and remembering the one time my dad showed up. I revisit a pivotal memory where I had the chance to pursue something I truly wanted… but never even asked for it.
Not because I didn’t care—but because I had already decided it wasn’t possible.
Growing up, I learned how to be selfless in ways that kept me small. I made decisions based on what I thought was realistic, instead of what I truly desired. I didn’t fight. I didn’t ask. I adjusted.
But now? I see it clearly.
In this episode, I unpack how those early thought patterns shaped the woman I became—and how I’m actively breaking those patterns today. This is about unlearning limitation, reclaiming your voice, and understanding that it’s never too late to choose yourself.
Because being “selfish” isn’t always a flaw… sometimes, it’s healing.

I sat down to record this from a place of pure frustration.
For the last few days, I’ve been stuck in a cycle—recording, re-recording, editing, overthinking… and then talking myself out of posting it altogether. Not because I don’t have something to say, but because somewhere along the way, I convinced myself it wasn’t good enough.
And the wild part? This episode was supposed to be about giving myself permission to redo. To start over. To not feel boxed in by something I already put out into the world.
But instead, I found myself doing the exact opposite—taking that permission back.
In this episode, I’m being real about what it looks like to be in the middle of the process. Not the polished version. Not the “I figured it out” version. But the messy, frustrating, uncomfortable part of trying to grow into something new.
If you’re on a journey where things don’t feel as easy as they used to… if you’ve been second-guessing yourself… if you’ve been holding back because it doesn’t feel “ready”—
This is your reminder:
You can redo.
You can change.
You can grow.
Just don’t take your power back from yourself in the process.
Because the permission?
It’s already yours.

I realized I was rushing through my life… just waiting on Friday.
In this episode, I reflect on what it looks like to stop treating the week like something to get through and start actually living inside each day. From small, intentional moments to a deeper shift in perspective, this is about learning how to enjoy your life in real time.
Because it’s not that we need more weekends…
we need to stop missing the days in between.
Peace.
This afternoon the energy around me felt different.
While preparing for a yoga class, I noticed a shift in the atmosphere. Conversations carried tension, emotions felt heavier, and it became a reminder of how easily we can absorb what others are going through if we aren’t mindful.

Then something unexpected happened. A bomb threat nearby that brought sudden uncertainty into the space.
This episode reflects on storms, not just the ones in the sky but the ones that show up in our lives. Sometimes the atmosphere shifts before the storm ever arrives. The real work isn’t predicting it — it’s learning how to protect your peace when you feel the shift.
Because sometimes the storm isn’t yours.
Peace.

For this 10th episode, I went back and read something I wrote in 2021 about control, awareness, and personal growth.
At the time, I didn’t realize how much that intention would challenge me over the next five years. This episode is a reflection on what it actually takes to release control, grow through testing, and stay committed to the work.
Because awareness isn’t theory; it’s practice.
