The Strange Road

Mikey and Bub sit down with Ross and chat about the flow of universal energy that can be perceived from people, places and things. Ross also shares a bizarre story from his childhood where he and his family experienced the moon in a peculiar state. Then a strange visitor came to their door a few days later. Mikey and Bub also share some personal paranormal stories as well.

In this P2 episode Jeffrey goes deep on several topics concerning Serpent Mound. Jeff could give a 100 hour presentation on Serpent Mound probably! We go through the various ancient cultures that were once in Ohio throughout prehistory. Which includes Fort Ancient, Intrusive Burial Mound Culture, Hopewell Culture and The Adena. We touch on the Serpent Mound Impact Crater. If that topic interests you we have a comprehensive episode with Thomas Johnson concerning the Impact Crater on 01/11/23. We go through LIDAR scans, archaeoastronomy and carbon dating at Serpent Mound as well. We hope you enjoy this Part 2 episode with Jeff as much as we did.

Mikey and Bub sit down in studio with Jeffrey Wilson to dig deep into the documented history of Serpent Mound and the characters throughout history surrounding the site going back almost 200 years. Jeff offered some clarity with the controversy surrounding Graham Hancock's hit Netflix series Ancient Apocalypse and the owners and operators of Serpent Mound, Ohio History Connection. Was Graham and his crew banned from the site? Well who better to ask than our buddy Jeff. He was featured in Ancient Apocalypse | Ep 06 - America's Lost Civilization. Jeff was interviewed by the crew about how important this site was to America's lost history.

Pt 1 | Ancient Apocalypse and Serpent Mound: Jeffrey Wilson

A video surfaced from Soul of Jaret's YouTube page, right before shooting this episode where a woman working the front gate was asked about the Graham Hancock ban. Her answer was interesting and it seems to contradict the time span of dates for filming among other details. The email was made public by Graham on his website: https://grahamhancock.com/hancockg21-serpentmound/

We are still following along with the back and fourth between the two camps. It's interesting to see other podcasters and content creators getting involved in the conversation as well. Finding intention is key!

BIO: Jeffrey currently serves as President of the Friends of Serpent Mound, a registered 501c3 non-profit organization advocating for Serpent Mound. Wilson been a guest on various national and local TV networks, as well as national and local radio programs including National Geographic International, Coast to Coast A.M. with George Noory, and most recently on the worldwide hit show Ancient Apocalypse.

Wilson received a Master's Degree in General Science from Eastern Michigan University located in Ypsilanti, Michigan, where he taught both Physics and Astronomy classes, and helped operate and maintain Sherzer Observatory on a volunteer basis.

Wilson also serves as chief editor and publisher of Serpent Mound Books & Press, a small publisher specializing in deep research into the prehistory of the Ohio River Valley. His first book, Ancient Monuments of the Mississippi Valley – the Expanded Edition will be released at the end of 2022, and the book series The Serpent Mound Chronicles beginning in 2023.

Mermaids, UFO's, JFK Archives & Ancient Sites In Peril are the news topics for today on Strange Happenings. Join us as Mikey & Bubs discuss the weird stuff they found on the internet this past week. We went off into some tangents that relate to the topics from our personal experiences. Are Mermaids real? Are their Deep Underwater Bases and ET's that are protecting this small Mexican City? We took a little time on archives.org looking into the latest release of The JFK Files, which is a document dump going back to the JFK Act from 1992 that required many 3 letter agencies to release their white papers concerning the JFK Assassination. Those 3 letter agencies are continuing to withhold 3% of the documents, which some think is a treasure trove of data that links Lee Harvey Oswald and others to clandestine CIA operations leading up to the assassination. We feel for the 1400 people that had to be evacuated from the ancient city of Petra due to a massive flood. We also cover some jack ass sneaking into a historic site and defacing a majestic petroglyph wall. It sickens me to think someone could have that sad of a life or be bored enough to do something like that. Way to go bud you win Danny of they year!

Mikey and Bub continue their hang with Jay and Justin from Cryptids of the Corn! In this Part 2 episode we get pretty loose and the topics begin to flow like a good hard cider. We jump into Giants, Carnivorous Clouds, The Snallygaster, Cloning Mammoths, Smithsonian Conspiracy, Megalania sightings in Australia and Serpent Mound. This one is great all the way to the end. We probably could have done another hour. The boys stayed and hung out for a good bit after the livestream and we kicked it. So many good laughs and Bub and I learned a ton!

Mikey and Bub hangout with Justin and Jay from Cryptids of the Corn for the first SWAPCAST from Brozone Studio. We started chatting with them leading up to Cryptid Con back in November and hit it off immediately. We had some beers with their team and Patreon members at the hotel bar that Friday night before the event kicked off. Great people. Had some laughs, shared some stories. They are super cool dudes and are from Ada, OH not far from where Bub, Stoner and I grew up. This one was sure to go all over the place. The biggest take away was Justin's research on Carnivorous Clouds and Strange Sky Beasts. See Cryptids of the Corn's full episode below on their Spotify Channel to go deeper. It was an honor to have the boys in studio and we're looking forward to more episodes in the future with them.

Mikey and Bub explore the phenomenon and history of The Dogman in the U.S. with special guest D.A. Roberts. We found out about D.A. while researching The Dogman for this episode from the North American Dogman Project (NADP) website. I reached out to him because he was listed as the region 2 director, which Ohio is apart of. Region 2 has the most sightings anywhere in the U.S. by far. He tells us about how he became fascinated with cryptids as a young man growing up on his uncle's ranch. Hearing stories about Sasquatch in a forbidden section of acreage. He shares some of his own encounters and a possible Dogman encounter, which was accidentally caught on camera. This episode just scratches the surface. Looking forward to having D.A. on to share more of his incredible stories and knowledge.

The Dogman: D.A. Roberts

BIO: D.A. Roberts is a cryptozoologist, author, podcaster, and field investigator. Born in Lebanon, Missouri, he now lives in Springfield, Missouri with his wife and sons. For most of his career, D.A. served his community in Law Enforcement. D.A. has been investigating and researching cryptids for more than four decades and is the Region 2 Director of the North American Dogman Project. D.A. has been featured onnumerous podcasts and shows for his writing and cryptid research.Known for his “Ragnarok Rising Saga,” he blends the zombie genre with elements of Norse Mythology. The series has been called “a thinking man’s apocalyptic world.” A second Ragnarok series is in the works. He is also known in science fiction for “The Infinite Black Series.” A second Sci-Fi series is also in the works.
