‘Indeed I have watched videos of factory farms before’ I told the 20-year-old representative from Tucson’s branch of an animal rights organization. ‘But how about you tell me the vital vegan information you’re filled with,’ I thought.

She smoothly launched into her pitch without hesitation, or any sign of interest from me.

I found a single 35mm photo negative in my soup today.

On Jan. 20, 2022, I got to rap about my creative journey with my newfound brethren. Jake Feinberg is a music journalist with an inexhaustible muse: what bonds the soul with tunes and who are the cats, as he’s dubbed them, that keep the fire blazing. We share a day-job now and bonded immediately over the elements that grow iconoclasts and outliers. I’m not a musician, but my poetic output places me akin to the, “dreamers of the dreams.” This podcast is broken into several parts. Tune in, baby!
