The Summer of 2015 at 10 is a weekly retrospective journey through American pop culture during May, June, July and August of 2015. Brandon Peters, Puck News and The Outside Scoop’s Scott Mendelson and We Live Entertainment/2 Black Guys Talk Godzilla/Out Now with Aaron and Abe’s Aaron Neuwirth take a weekend by weekend look at the films released during the summer as well as the news stories, television and music that rounded out the public’s lives as they lined the pockets of the box office to see these movies.
July 17-19, 2015: This one of the best or most intriguing rosters of the summer with good variety. There’s a nice little Woody Allen oddity, a new take on a classic British icon, a modern rom com and another Marvel family movie. Fun discussions be had over Irrational Man, Mr. Holmes, Trainwreck and Ant-Man.
We’ll also be discussing the box office report, notable news stories, the top 10 Nielsen rated tv programs for the week and the top 10 of Ryan Seacrest’s weekly American top 40 from the week these films were released.
