The Summer of 2015 at 10 is a weekly retrospective journey through American pop culture during May, June, July and August of 2015. Brandon Peters, Puck News and The Outside Scoop’s Scott Mendelson and We Live Entertainment/2 Black Guys Talk Godzilla/Out Now with Aaron and Abe’s Aaron Neuwirth take a weekend by weekend look at the films released during the summer as well as the news stories, television and music that rounded out the public’s lives as they lined the pockets of the box office to see these movies.

May 22-24, 2015: A rather intriguing and meaty slate of films for discussion this week regardless of quality. In a link back to Summer of 82, we have the Poltergeist remake. Chocolate City warms us up for a Magic Mike sequel later this summer. Slow West is a great one to revisit. And we all had high hopes for Tomorrowland 10 years ago.

We’ll also be discussing the box office report, notable news stories, the top 10 Nielsen rated tv programs for the week and the top 10 of Ryan Seacrest’s weekly American top 40 from the week these films were released.
