In this episode, I'm sharing my real, vulnerable story behind why I became a photographer and why I continue to be one. I'm sharing what motivates me in life and in business—from my faith to my family, friends, clients, pets, community, and health. My why behind being a photographer is so much deeper than because I love taking photos. While creating art is absolutely one of my favorite things to do... my career is how I get to utilize the gifts God gave me, serve others wholeheartedly, provide for my family, live with purpose & intention, and take care of myself so I can show up fully in everything I do.

My husband and I took a 4 day trip to the Grand Tetons and I didn't take my iPhone! It was the most freeing unplugged experience ever and I'm sharing all about it in this episode. From some of our favorite spots in Jackson to explaining the tug on my heart to be more connected with the world and less with screens... there's something here for you. If you've ever felt overwhelmed by your phone, notifications, and feel like you simply can't get away from the noise of the world, this is my love letter (more like my battle cry) to just freaking do it. Life is too short to miss out on the irreplaceable moments with your loved ones and unmistakable beauty God created.

Even though some moments were disappointing on my wedding day, it was still the best day of my life because I got to marry my best friend. The best part? Those disappointing moments have not once affected our marriage. I hope your wedding day is the best day of your lives, but even more so... I hope every day after is even better. Marriage rocks!

Yes, I've had to say this to a doctor before. If you've ever been to the doctor for fatigue, were denied testing, and instead offered birth control... you aren't alone. In this episode, I'm sharing my 2 most recent experiences that pushed me to start seeing a naturopath to get to the root of my health. I am so grateful for the many amazing doctors out there who listen to us, are curious alongside us, deeply care, and educate us. This episode is just my personal experience and never medical advice. 

If you're experiencing health issues, I want to encourage you to get curious. Ask why. Push for answers. And don't give up. You are worth fighting for and you are not crazy.
