Kelsen Brewing Company opened its doors in Derry, NH on March 1, 2014.  Kelsen is known for pushing the limits of beer styles, while maintaining an intense focus on brewing highly drinkable craft beers.  Kelsen beers include Battle Axe IPA, Paradigm Brown Ale, Spacetown Pale Ale and Double Battle Axe Imperial IPA.  The Derry, NH brewery is a 3 BBL brewhouse producing approximately 500 BBL of beer each year.  The Tasting Room is open to the public on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Great Leap Brewing started in 2010, and has since been creating recipes based on our desire to foster a Chinese Craft Beer culture. Great Leap Brewing was the first of Beijing’s recent craft brewery revolution. The brewery uses only high quality ingredients. Their philosophy is to source a majority of locally grown products, including 100% locally grown and processed hops, teas, spices, fruits, vegetables, coffees, sugars and honeys. Great Leap Brewing believes that China is ready to be proud of a locally brewed, high quality product that uses Chinese ingredients to create the best possible beer for a growing local market.

From The Barrel Brewing Company LLC is owned and operated by the Anderson family. Brothers Joel and Jayson brew all the beer and I manage the marketing side of things. Our parents Gary and Debby plus our wives Natalie, Barb, and Sara all help with the day to day operations at the brewery.

Like most breweries it began with a passion for home brewing. Joel and Jay would bring their latest creations into work, family parties, etc. and as time went on the quality got better and better. It got to the point that we were all harassing them to hurry up and brew another batch. We got together as a family and after a lot of consideration and planning we decided to apply for a nano brewery license. We found our space, fitted it up, and here we are today.

I've been in the beer business for over 25 years championing smaller breweries from all over the US.  I've worked on both coasts (Portland, OR and New England) watching the craft beer segment take hold and grow.  I have worked with and represented a wide range of the best craft breweries in the US - Allagash, Great Divide, Stoudt's, North Coast, Elysian, Founders, Heavy Seas, Arcadia, 21st Amendment, No Li, Penn Brewing, Full Sail, Deschuttes, Portland Brewing, Pike Place, New Planet, and of, course, Uinta.
  My philosophy on the craft beer segement is "bring people to the party" - enjoy all types of beer and expand your beer repetoire - leave pretention at the door - great beers are for everyone.   I'm originally from Sarasota, Florida (born there in fact!) and have lived all over the US and Brazil - fairly fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

Djinn Spirits is the creation of Andy and Cindy Harthcock. After 30 years in engineering, plus Master's degrees in Computer Engineering and Engineering Management, Andy wanted to step outside corporate life. And after a full career in Nursing, Cindy was ready for something new as well. They searched for several years until that one day when Cindy mentioned "distilling would be fun..." And that did it. They found a way to combine their love for the aesthetics of taste with the creative technical side. Distillation provides not only 2000 years of lore, but the chance to use some very new technology.

Starting as a home brewer because he thought it seemed “cool” to make your own beer, Rik Marley entered the brewing world without knowing it would one day contribute to his biggest professional accomplishments (with many more anticipated). After a day of skiing in 2005, Marley went for dinner at the Woodstock Inn & Brewery in Lincoln, NH, where he would eventually have his first brewing position. While working as an Assistant Brewer at the Woodstock Inn and Italian Oasis simultaneously, he attended the American Brewer’s Guild, which offers a craft brewer’s apprenticeship program and education in intensive brewing science and engineering.

Jason Phelps is a blogger with many talents.  Not only does he write about wine, food, and yes – beer, he actually makes some of his own hooch to keep things interesting.  His blog, Ancient Fire Wines, bring new idea in food and drink to his readers from New Hampshire, his home base.  Jason has been writing since 2008, so we look forward to having him join us at the Wine Bloggers Conference to bring his perspective as both a home winemaker and a blogger.

Aaron began homebrewing while an undergrad at The University of Georgia in 2006. He lived in Atlanta, GA for a number of years working and brewing as much as he could. He moved to Colorado in 2010 In 2012 he moved to Ithaca NY where he currently attends Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. He will graduate in May of 2014 and has plans to return to Colorado. Aaron is BrewJacket's Chief Executive Officer.
