This wasn’t the soft, spiritual, self-care era I imagined.
No meditation.
No yoga.
No breathwork.
Just me, staring at the ceiling like, “Are you kidding me? This is my healing era?”
Instead of resting, I defaulted straight back into survival mode — building, producing, creating, filling every empty space with work… even during a period that was supposed to be dedicated solely to taking care of myself.
And guess what?
That doesn’t mean I failed.
It means I’m deconditioning a lifetime of being in “go mode.”
