Well, this is almost certainly the fastest turnaround of an episode ever. Congratulations, me!

Enterprise finally gets to Risa, and you know how boring it is to watch Facebook updates of other people's vacations? Yeah, "Two Days and Two Nights" is more boring than that. (Seriously, "Hoshi gets laid" is a critical plot point.) Then, the Temporal Cold War business comes to a head (?) in "Shockwave," as we try (and fail) to resist the temptation to make a bunch of giggly Quantum Leap jokes. We examine the first season of Enterprise in total, and we finally get to a point where we cut Brannon Braga some slack. Yes, I know.

Elsewhere, we talk the new Daily Show, the premiere of Heroes Reborn, the new Muppets, Scream Queens, and we eventually get to the Mad Men third season episode "The Arrangements." It's a busy show!

Ron Moore and his wacky gang decide to test the limits of what Battlestar Galactica could be in three very, very different episodes. We discuss "Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down," "The Hand of God," and "Colonial Day," and try to figure out just what the hell the writers were thinking. In a similar vein, and everyone puts on a show in Mad Men's "My Old Kentucky Home." You think these people can't get any worse, and then Roger Sterling puts on blackface.

That's the question the crew of Enterprise is asking as the show turns "trying to get to Risa for shore leave" into a plot arc. Hey, at least they're trying. We talk about how they do in "Vox Sola," "Fallen Hero," and "Desert Crossing." Then, the Mad Men try to sell diet soda, Madison Square Garden, and thoughtful senior care in "Love Among the Ruins."

Accounting is boring. Take it from us. But somehow Don and Sal make being fake accountants sound like the most interesting job in the world in Mad Men's third season premiere, "Out of Town." Before that, Ron Moore starts to figure out what Battlestar Galactica is capable of (courtroom drama!) in "Litmus," "Six Degrees of Separation," and "Flesh and Bone."

Okay, I know we said last time we'd be talking about "Meditations in an Emergency," the final episode of Mad Men's second season, but that was incorrect. My bad. This episode we're talking about that, along with Enterprise first season episodes "Acquisition," "Oasis," and "Detained." When the Ferengi comedy episode is the best of the bunch, you know you're in trouble.

Let the bleakness resume! We're back to Battlestar Galactica this time around, with "Bastille Day," "Act of Contrition," and "You Can't Go Home Again." Meanwhile, things get even more bleak (!) for Mad Men as the Cuban Missile Crisis looms in "Meditations in an Emergency."

Enterprise is out of ideas (already!), so we're stuck with three rather flailing episodes, "Shuttlepod One," "Fusion," and "Rogue Planet." Everyone who was wondering when they'd finally do a Vulcan mind rapist storyline, you're in luck! Then, Mad Men takes a vacation to Los Angeles in "The Jet Set," as Don Draper nopes out of a meeting and the show spreads itself as thin as can be.

We start Battlestar Galactica with the miniseries, "33," and "Water." Then, Mad Men talks about family matters in "The Inheritance."

Enterprise manages to pull off three consecutive not-terrible episodes in a row, so maybe they're turning a corner? In any case, we watch "Dear Doctor," "Sleeping Dogs," and "Shadows of P'Jem," which are all fairly solid, if completely devoid of original thought (the best of them is a rough combination of two classic Next Gen episodes). Then, on Mad Men, Freddy Rumsen has an awful day and is given "Six Months Leave" to think about it.
