Veronica Mars! As we said two weeks ago, we begin our journey through this modern day noir meets Encyclopedia Brown, with "Credit Where Credit's Due," "Meet John Smith," and "The Wrath of Con." We talk about Paris Hilton, Nigerian email scams, transphobia, good young actors, remembering child characters are still children, guys getting pushy with sexual banter, well-written character development, the security options for college dorm rooms, and why high school boys are all pretty much gross assholes. Yeah, there's a lot to discuss. Of course there is, it's Veronica Mars. Plus, Friday Night Lights pokes us in the eye while we're "Seeing Other People," and hey, maybe we need a new hobby.

We start the show with an extended tangent on media piracy, but eventually move on to starting the sixth season of Deep Space Nine, with the thoroughly depressing "A Time to Stand," "Rocks and Shoals," and "Sons and Daughters." Well. The good news is that we're finishing off the fifth season of Deep Space Nine, with "In the Cards," "Call to Arms," and our usual post-season discussion. And even better, we have more ridiculous happenings in Dillon (and Mexico) as we continue giggling through the second season of Friday Night Lights with "Let's Get It On."

The bad news is we can't yet announce which show we'll be covering next, because...well, we haven't decided. Yet. We have more information in the show itself, but we have an interesting experiment planned for next week. Watch this space.
