We're back, after taking a week off. This week:

Community aired a Thanksgiving episode in March, because of course they did. Also, we explore Changnesia in (another) documentary episode. It's...um, well, it's...uh. Huh.

Elementary works when it's about people. It doesn't when it's about puzzles. This week's episode was about people. Thankfully, because the puzzle was kind of stupid.

We wrap up talking about Deep Space Nine's second season by looking at "Tribunal" and "The Jem'Hadar."

But this week's episode was especially good at the stuff we wish the show was about, and particularly weak at the stuff it's actually about. Also, in here J. talks about the Sherlock Holmes text adventure game and Murder on the Orient Express. For some reason.

Community spends an entire episode running on Inspector Spacetime gags, and the result is...meh. Also, we know that television is always mean to nerds, but...et tu, Community?

On Deep Space Nine, Garak teaches us the value of the truth in "The Wire." Then, Nana Visitor always makes a trip to the evil mirror universe interesting in "Crossover," while the Bajorans finally get around to replacing Kai Opaka with a new Space Pope Kai in "The Collaborator." (You'll recall that Opaka originally abandoned Bajor to spend eternity counseling the Space Zombie Warriors.)

Next week: Elementary is on hiatus, but we'll still have Community. And then, we inch ever closer to the end of LOST!'s second season, with "The Whole Truth" (Korean subtitles!), "Lockdown" (black lights!), and "Dave" (taco night!).

Elementary gets crazy (but not crazy enough, turns out) in "The Red Team," then follows the Super Bowl by asking, "How can we be more like CSI: NY"? The answer is an episode called "The Deductionist." ("A Giant Gun, Full of Drugs" will have to wait until next week. Robby didn't see it.)

Hey, remember when this podcast was all about Community? Now it can be again! Though our first Harmonless "History 101" felt...different. Or did it? J. thinks so.

Then, on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, old Klingons show up to bore Robby in "Blood Oath," before the writers reveal their long con in "The Maquis, Parts I & II." Oh, you thought you were watching just another Star Trek show? Gul Dukat begs to differ.

Is it okay to start watching a show in the middle without going back to the beginning?

LOST! We learn about Mr. Eko in "The 23rd Psalm," one of the second season's strongest hours.

Then a lackluster Jack flashback can't diminish "The Hunting Party," which indulges J.'s love of standoffs.

But "Fire + Water" brings us back down to Earth with a ponderous, unfulfilling episode heavy on the weirdness.

Next week (meaning in the next couple of days, as J. is trying to catch up on the backlog again), we talk Elementary's post-Super Bowl entry, the return of Community, and Deep Space Nine, with "Blood Oath" (Klingons!) and "The Maquis, Parts I and II" (ethical shades of gray!).
