It's a light, fun episode that the final stretch of Season 7 earns after everything that came before it.

In this episode, we break down "A Midwinter Night's Dream, Part 2" as Sophia races to complete three tasks before moonrise to break the witch's curse — and Miles and Dorothy accidentally kiss in the middle of all of it. Rose finds out. The episode borrows its structure from Shakespeare and earns the comparison: wrong people falling into the wrong moments, magic and moonlight making everything worse before it gets better. This has been a podcast about The Golden Girls since it's inception. Sadly, we are coming to the end of The Golden Girls. It won't be the end of this podcast. The podcast is being rebranded. It will now be called The Television Time Capsule Podcast. The Golden Girls will continue until it is finished. I will then do the one season of The Golden Palace. Miles quietly tells Rose he wants to marry her. Three things are happening simultaneously and none of them are going to resolve neatly before the hour is up.

She dreams of the show. Her dream version of Jeopardy! features Rose as a competitor and a game that is rigged — which tells you everything about Dorothy's unconscious mind. It's a love letter to a woman who has always been the smartest person in the room and has never once stopped wanting someone to officially confirm it.

In this episode, we examine "The Commitments" as Blanche's latest boyfriend refuses to sleep with her — which sends Blanche into an existential spiral about whether she's losing her appeal.
