Less a remake of the 1982 John Carpenter original and more a revisiting to that same universe, this flick continues to explore the lore behind the ever elusive ~thing.~ It also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as an Ellen Ripley-esque scientist, so you *know* that's right up our alley.
