Belle Owen is a Project Specialist with Purple-Orange. So, what is Purple-Orange? It's a business that advocates the rights for people with disability. Belle is disabled herself and in the best position to know what the disabled are chasing. In this podcast we look at what the disabled need to work & volunteer and be a part of our society. Until late they fought an uphill battle. Belle deserves heaps of praise. She's honest, straight to the point and understands both sides. Is the NDIS good, we ask Belle this very question?

He's an AFL Goal Umpire these days. Daniel Hoskin spent time in Moonta on the Yorke Peninsula honing his skills. He travelled up and back to goal umpire training in Adelaide a few times each week.  He's been associated with the AFL for many, many seasons. But why goal umpiring for a young man. In this podcast Daniel explains the whys and hows of goal umpiring.  We also take a look at the video review system. Has it been successful or not? Peter Malinauskas, the leader of the State Labor Party joins us for this podcast chat. Peter looks at his life from working at Woolies to holidaying on the Yorke Peninsula. He played football for the Adelaide University Blacks. But he says he's hopeful his playing days aren't behind him. He wants to play 200 senior games for the club, time may be running against him though. Peter Malinauskas is as honest and frank as they come in this one on one podcast.  

Port Adelaide big man Scott Lycett is our guest. A premiership player with the West Coast, Scott knows what he wants and what it takes. Before heading to the West, Scott played for the Port Magpies and won a Premiership in the seconds. . At the time this interview was conducted Scott had played more than 120 AFL  games. We take a look at his career and coming back to the Club he is very proud of, Port Adelaide.

In fact he worked for the SANFL and started his working career at Marion selling sports shoes including footy boots.

In my mind Adam Pitt is a legend and a decent bloke. Yes, he's done the rounds but is he a better cricketer or footballer? In this podcast we ask all the tough questions and Adam doesn't miss a beat.  The CMS Crows to running the Stansbury Sports & Community Club, he takes it all in his stride. Playing and coaching at a very young age. Today he plays in the B-Grade at the CMS Crows and knows the game very well.

Everywhere around the Yorke Peninsula you can find a park run. Some are better know than others.  Port Broughton 's run is well known for example. Now there's a park run near Kadina. 'The Copper Trail Parkrun' is held every Saturday at 8am. And it caters for everyone & style of runner, says event organiser Gerry van Kiekerk.
