The Third Person Podcast

A special episode of Third Person Presents, and Local Spotlight. We talk about the new escape room at Black Creek Pioneer Village, "Where Dark Things Dwell" from Secret City Adventures. Some slight spoilers ahead! We chat about our experience with it and how it relates back to our usual topic, video games.

Today's episode is all about the games industry! We chat a bit about Fortnite and that leads to us diving into AAA game development, microtransactions, video game profits and costs, and a bunch about what the games landscape looks like right now. We then make some quick TV show recommendations and dash off into the night!

We get a little spicy this podcast and chat so many games and our problems with them. (And why we love them too.) We get into FFXII: The Zodiac Age, Darkest Dungeon, Fortnite, Animal Crossing: HHD, Splatoon 2 and Destiny 2. This podcast is jam packed with GAMES y'all and it's a good time.

This week's episode finds the team going a little off the rails in some odd directions. We chat Steam sale, Final Fantasy, video game villains, SNES classic, games preservation, Toronto Pride, aerial silks, Once Upon a Time, Terrace House, Preacher and some other random tidbits. It's kind of a hot mess.

In today's long overdue episode the gang talks E3. We chat about every game announced almost, going through the press conferences and picking out our favs and our not so favs. These are the hottest of takes... almost a month after E3. Also listen to our Editor-in-Chief try not to die mid-podcast.

Welcome to Third Person's (timely) coverage of E3 2017. We'll have a podcast for each press conference going up soon, as well as our usual weekly podcast, rounding up on the conference as a whole and our thoughts.
