There is nothing wrong with masculinity. Being masculine, being attracted to masculinity, all wonderful things yay! It's the expectations we sometimes put on the young boys of not being allowed to cry, or emote or feel. That pressure to be a man was such a huge part of my childhood and upbringing, that it became all consuming and propelled my life in directions I didn't want to go. 

These are the tales I have to tell from my years of swimming in the toxic pool of American macho brainwashing bullshit. It is not every little boys experience. But it sure was mine.
