Counting our blessings even in hard times is a biblical exercise: “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
However, there’s a way to experience our Father’s presence that transcends an occasional attitude of gratitude.
