Its answer: evil is real, insidious, and beyond our power to fix, but it cannot prevail against the kingdom of the crucified Lord. Using D-Day as its central image — the decisive victory already won, though the battle rages on — Mthr. Barbara White reframes Christ's coming judgment not as condemnation, but as restoration.
