Another fantastic episode as we welcome the local guitar shredding Samurai, the Mighty Aaron Epp of Anti-Bacterial Cereal and other local ICT bands. Jay was out again but Adam’s lovely daughter, Ms. Abby Tate took over the board and did an awesome job making sure things ran smoothly, well as smoothly as this podcast can go. Not only do the guys go into live music during the COVID-19 era, they also cover Babe Ruth, Alexander the Great, UFOs, Egyptian Pyramids, the Sphinx, aliens, art, and more music. Adam, in typical Adam fashion, asks about how ready is Tommy to take to a stage to live his Rock N Roll dream. The answer even surprised Tommy. Email us at: [email protected]
This week with Jay being back and the rock and roll news being pretty dead, Jay decides to flip this whole thing upside down. Adam takes over on the A Mic and Tommy has to sit back and enjoy the ride (we thought he was going to implode). This week the "Today Is" was brought to us by Monica Wilson. Adam lays the knowledge on the group for National Yo-Yo Day and much more. Tommy gets the privilege to introduce the #WTFrijoles. The guys wrap it up with some page 6 rock news and of course "Good Times Bad Times." Don't worry you guys everything will be back to normal next week. Enjoy it in the meantime. This week Big Bubba Jay Martinez decided to go on vacation. But no worries, local multi talented artist Vic Sotomayor answered the call and occupied the "Producer Seat." Thanks dude, you won't get paid but you can brag you were on this pod as a producer, The guys went through the drill and came up with a new ad for COVID 19 Travel. They discuss how the fear of "buttons" helped shape our lives as we know it. And of course, they discussed how one of the most popular Rock News websites build the Ultimate Rock Album. The guys are in a bit of a pinch and would like some much-needed help on Saturday morning. Email us at [email protected] if you are interested!
This week the guys go over some pretty neat stuff in the "Today Is" and Adam has some good content to give up in the #WTFrijoles of the week. They also get into what was the first piece of music they remember in their lives. Tommy and Jay have a bit of a moment, which you will want to tune in for. They also celebrate another year of life for the Producer Extraordinaire. The guys also get into some rock news of the week, as we inch closer and closer to normalcy. It's all wrapped up with "Good Time and Bad Times," And of course we salute those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedoms, which includes the ability to make this thing we dare call a "Podcast." Thank you to all military as well as first responders and their families for what they do for us. We salute and thank you. (Email us: [email protected])
This week the guys get together with Tim the Trivia Titan, who joins the crew in person at El Grand Studios #2 to see how the magic happens. We start off with paying our respects to Little Richard, then we get into the "Today Is," (Happy National BBQ, Armed Forces, and LGBT Elders Day). Adam hits us with a very bizarre "#WTFriojles." Then the guys talk to Tim for a little while and tell us a funny story about the time him and Tommy went to the Creed concert in early 2000. We wrap it up by having a friendly competition between Tim and Tommy and let's just say Tommy needed to be a little bit more than In the Zone (Email us: [email protected])
Excuse the late upload. We were having some technical difficulties. The guys unite in person as they wrap up "The Wood That Makes You Feel Good Contest" alongside with the General Sammy Rodriguez. They get into the "Today Is," #WTFrijoles, and much more. Including, some good news on what a one city is doing to bring back live shows while maintaining social distancing. We want to thank everyone who participated in this little contest and to the special winner please email us at [email protected] so we can get this awesome phone stand out to you.
Happy National Free Comic Book Day. This week the guys are joined by the Man on the Silver Moutain, and we aren't talking Ronnie James Dio, we got someone better W.T. Gage The Guru. The guys kick it off with the "Today Is" Jay tugs at Tommy's heartstrings when he talks about why free comic book day is so meaningful to him. Tommy indulges us all with his encounter with El Chupacabra. Adam gives us a creepy "#WTFrijoles." The Guru then enlightens us all by answering a few of your questions. We get some refreshingly good rock news. The guys go through their top 3 freedom songs as we all slowly liberated from the lockdown. Then we wrap it up with some Good Times Bad Times. Remember it is the last week to enter our contest, we will be announcing the winner next week. (Email us: tommynadampod@gmail.,com)
This week the guys get together via Zoom. They are also joined by the master woodworker himself Sammy Rodriguez. Adam somehow taps into the underworld and gets a posthumous endorsement from rock and roll royalty. We have a very important PSA about COVID-19. The guys get into the "Today Is", "#WTFrijoles" which is rather interesting or repulsive. We get to learn a little bit about the relationship between Tommy and Sam before Sam gets into how he got into woodworking. The guys talk about there top 5 favorite Iron Maiden songs. Tommy wraps us up with some "Good Times Bad Times." 2 weeks until the Wood That Makes You Feel Good contest concludes. If you don't want to rate us just shoot us an email. (Email: [email protected])
Going into week number 4 of remote podding, this week the guys have a very special guest and friend of the show Quincy remote all the way from California and go through the "Today Is" The King of Pop was brought up in a discussion about legacy. The "#WTFrijoles" get its proper treatment. Quincy offers some insight into what we should all be watching during our quarantine. Then we wrap it up with a pretty funny "Good Times, Bad Times" segment." 3 weeks until the Wood That Makes You Feel Good contest conclude, so remember to leave us a review and rating where ever you can.
