FBI does everything but kick in the door on Roger Stone Friday morning. Arrested without giving the chance to turn himself in - as CNN happened to appear on-the-scene. Then released on relatively low bail. Out of control behavior by our federal government should concern everyone, but many are blinded by political rage. Trump agrees to reopen government. Harsh criticism from some conservatives. Others think he did the right thing - even outsmarting Democrats. What happens in 3 weeks? Another shutdown? National Emergency Declaration? The silly narratives we’re subjected to. List of 2020 Democrat candidates. Diversity is the narrative this year - but it wasn’t in 2016, when Republicans had a much more diverse slate of candidates than the Democrats. Four old white guys and a Clinton.

Good ole CNN wonders what Trump is going to do to end the shutdown. Confused about what he wants. Maybe they wouldn’t be so confused if Chuck Pelosi communicated with him. Even if he wanted to end it today, no legislation has passed both chambers of Congress that he could sign. They could probably get that done if he indicated he would sign it, but 2 pieces of legislation designed to reopen the government failed to pass the Senate yesterday. Gridlock. Filibuster rules. Narratives. Political posturing. New gruesome abortion law in effect in New York. And they say walls are immoral.

So Nancy Pelosi really did disinvite Trump from giving his State of the Union Address in the House. Can we at least agree this is not how a dictator behaves? All of this in just 3 short weeks. Nancy Pelosi is afraid of words. No negotiation. No speech. Some of the crazy arguments out there concerning border security. Fundamental misunderstandings. NY state to allow for abortion up to birth.

Where will the State of the Union Address be held? Will Pelosi agree to it being in the Capital? Will Trump host it off-site? Near southern border? A political rally instead of a speech? Social media meltdown from verified Leftist Twitter accounts go bananas: Wish kids got cancer, try to make public students’ personal information & want to punch in them in face. #KeepingItClassy Why do we have to choose sides in 0.3 seconds? Many seek to justify their own opinions & beliefs - and then fill in the facts.

Democrats reject Trump’s deal to reopen government out-of-hand … before he even shares details. Funding government through ridiculous continuing resolutions (CR’s) versus annual budgeting is Congress’ fault. Having an unsolved border crisis is Congress’ fault. Americans’ lives are being destroyed by criminal illegal aliens, and Trump is demanding Congress act. Is it worth a shutdown? If not now, when?

Trump rejects Pelosi’s request to use military aircraft to travel to Brussels, Egypt & Afghanistan. Media says these actions put Pelosi in danger because it violated standard safety protocol for someone entering a war zone. How did we get here? Empty promises. Political opportunists. The numbers on criminal illegal aliens are astonishing & demonstrate we clearly have a crisis along the southern border. Stupid stuff we’re told: walls don’t work; walls are immoral; Ornery Uncle Dick Durbin. Reframe this issue in reality and let’s get it fixed.

Senator Dick Durbin’s “Ornery Uncle” analogy. Huh? Nancy Pelosi sends letter to Trump requesting date of the SOTU Address be moved because of government shutdown. Are security personnel not considered essential to our government? Anyone out there believe her concerns are genuine - or is this more “politics as usual?” Submit in writing? Give Address from another location? Steny Hoyer (D-MD) admits walls work and that they are not, in fact, immoral. Kudos to a Democrat Congressman who is willing to acknowledge this.
