The Tone Mob Podcast

This might be the Tone Mob episode that is the most overdue! I explain in more detail on the episode, but Chris and I have been in touch for YEARS.

He is an amazing guitarist and a fantastic dude. We got into some heavy music industry stuff, his love of old guitar amplifiers, songwriting, navigating as an artist and a whole lot more! You are going to love this episode.

I am super stoked to bring this one to you! Fran and I really hit it off here. The dude has a great story and has put in THOSE HOURS. We talk about his story, gear and his musical life. There is some really fascinating stuff here. We got into some of his years with All Shall Perish, transitioning into the spotlight rapidly, playing for massive crowds vs real life, and how Light The Torch got off the ground.

Hey everyone! It is time for a tasty bonus episode featuring my dude Chris DeMakes from the band Less Than Jake, and his show, Chris DeMakes A Podcast. We had a most excellent chat about his musical history, his gear over time, the concept behind his podcast and a whole lot more. Give it a spin, I think you'll really enjoy it.

On this episode, Ryan comes back on the show and breaks my heart. He doesn't love the same band that I do and now we cannot possibly be friends anymore. So there you go. Listen to this if you want to hear the end of a beautiful friendship.

And then go check out his work at the Fuzzrocious Pedals website.

We did it!!! I have been meaning to get The Guitar Geek himself on this show, and we finally made it happen. Andy and I discussed his history as a musician/entertainer, producing content for YouTube vs a podcast, the importance of mental health, and a whole lot more.

This was a truly fun and important episode. I hope you dig it!

Another hot one for you! This time I am sitting down with Mr. Thomas Erak from The Fall of Troy, Just Like Vinyl and a bunch of other things. We had a great time discussing his upcoming post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, horror music/art project, his recent pedal obsessions, his musical life and so much more. It is a really fun one and I think you are going to enjoy it.

So stoked about this one!!! Emily is a fantastic musician out of Austin Texas. She has a KILLER new signature guitar from Epiphone, and some rad new music on the way! This was a great episode! We talked gear, we talked life, and we touched on a very important issue in regards to women in the music industry thanks to a listener question.

Billy Gibbon's Pearly Gates Les Paul is a legendary instrument. It is arguably one of the most well known 1959 Les Paul Bursts on the planet. Thomas Nilsen is a pickup winder based in the UK who has worked with Billy for years. He recently had the opportunity to scan and make hyper detailed replicas of Billy's guitar called "Whisker Buckers".

We talk in great detail about that process and a whole lot more. This is a fantastic episode!

Hey, would ya look at that? Mr. Fallon and Mr. Benson are back on the podcast for another episode of total nerdery and Dad-like speculation about the weather and housing market.

This was a very special episode spurred on by Brian, and I'm so glad he had the idea. This was an absolute blast. Enjoy!

Check out Brian's music right HERE or wherever you get your tunes. In addition to his solo work, he was also part of a little thing called The Gaslight Anthem. You may be familiar, and if your aren't you should go ahead and get familiar.

You know I have much love for Chris's work, but if that has somehow escaped you. check out his amplifiers at Bensonamps.com
