Reports say Oklahoma actually “approved” their hideout play with the officiating crew before the game — but the SEC office later admitted it was an incorrect call and should have been a penalty. Did Oklahoma give the officials the full details of the play, or just enough to slip it through? So many questions and zero answers.

It raises a bigger issue: why are officials so shielded from the media? They can chat with sideline reporters during the game, but after a blown call they vanish without accountability. Auburn fans deserve better.
